Zodiac’s Latest Sea Wolf GMT Watches Combine New Color Palettes And In-House Caliber

Zodiac introduces two new Super Sea Wolf GMT with In-house Caliber that for the first time become part of the brand’s permanent collection.

There is nothing new or surprising in these two additions, besides of course the new colour palettes that come with the upcoming bathing season in mind and the In-house movement made by Swiss Technology Production (STP) exclusively for the Fossil group of which Zodiac is part.

The two dive watches come with the traditional 40mm mainly brushed stainless steel round case configuration, 24-hour bi-colour bezel with the upper half in a darker tone for the night hours and the lower half in a lighter tone for the day hours. Sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s logo, screwed solid case back and 200m water resistance.

On the dial, we find the usual arrangement, with applied hour markers and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova, a date window with a matching background next to the crown, a lollipop centre seconds hand and an extra GMT hand that works in partnership with the bezel.

Between the two variants, the more discreet one comes with a silver dial, a black and grey bezel with a turquoise inverted triangle at noon and a red GMT hand. Then there is another more eye-catching one with a black dial, pink and white bezel and matching pink GMT hand.

At its heart now lives the 26-jewel STP 7-20 GMT automatic movement, which reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 40 hours of power reserve.

Both watches come attached to a Jubilee 5-link steel bracelet with the brand’s signature folding clasp and a price tag of USD 1,995.
