Zenith’s Chronomaster Sport Gets A Meteorite Dial Makeover
Zenith expands its celebrated Chronomaster Sport line with a striking new edition featuring a meteorite dial. Since its introduction in 2021, the Chronomaster Sport has become a cornerstone of Zenith’s collection, showcasing the brand’s mastery of chronograph design and technical innovation. This latest version continues that legacy with a dial carved from extraterrestrial material, giving the watch a distinctive and timeless character.
Case and Bezel
The Chronomaster Sport Meteorite comes in a 40 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.60 mm and a lug-to-lug span of under 47 mm, ensuring balanced proportions on the wrist. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the case is paired with a fixed black ceramic bezel engraved with a 1/10th of a second scale, underscoring the precision offered by the movement inside. White-filled markers on the bezel ensure excellent legibility against the dark ceramic surface.

Dial Design
The highlight of this release is undoubtedly the meteorite dial, each piece uniquely patterned due to the natural crystalline structure of the space-born material. To complement its texture, Zenith has chosen a monochromatic tri-color sub-dial layout that transitions from white to light gray to dark gray.

Applied hour markers feature black lacquer on their upper facets and white Super-LumiNova on their sides for visibility in low light. The baton-style hands follow the same treatment, maintaining the dial’s cohesive aesthetic. A subtle touch of red appears on the central chronograph seconds hand and the sub-dial hands at 3 and 6 o’clock, adding a hint of dynamism without disrupting the refined palette. The date window is discreetly placed at 4:30, in line with the Chronomaster Sport’s signature design.
Strap Options
The watch is fitted with a three-link stainless steel bracelet, combining polished center links with brushed outer links for a balanced sporty-elegant finish. It is secured with a fold-over clasp and safety lock, ensuring both comfort and durability. The package also includes a black rubber strap for a more sporty look.

Movement: El Primero 3600
At its core, the Chronomaster Sport Meteorite is powered by the El Primero 3600 caliber, Zenith’s latest-generation automatic chronograph movement. Beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5Hz), it offers a 60-hour power reserve and enables 1/10th of a second chronograph measurement, displayed via the central hand and the ceramic bezel scale. The transparent caseback reveals the movement’s refined architecture and modern finishing.

A Modern Sports Chronograph with a Cosmic Edge
The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Meteorite combines the technical precision of the El Primero 3600 with the unique aesthetics of a natural meteorite dial. Its monochrome color scheme, accented by subtle red details, gives it a contemporary and versatile character while showcasing Zenith’s flair for integrating unusual materials into classic watchmaking.

This new edition is priced at € 18,300, further strengthening the Chronomaster Sport’s position as one of Zenith’s most versatile and innovative chronographs.
