Zenith Present Two New Defy Skyline Tourbillon High Frequency
Zenith brings two new high-frequency Defy Skylines to the collection that come with a new Caliber.
The watches arrive in two variants, one in stainless steel with a blue dial and the other with a black ceramic case and matching dial, whose main highlight is its high-frequency tourbillon that completes a 360º rotation every minute.
The watches that maintain the traditional Defy Skyline configuration wear a 41mm case with a dodecagon bezel that comes with brushed surfaces and polished chamfers, sapphire crystal on both sides, crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and 100m water resistance.
On the dial we can find a background decorated with a spiral starry sky, with a 60-second tourbillon at 6 o’clock inside a cage shaped like a four-pointed star held by a horizontal bridge, applied hour markers and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova and a rehaunt with a minute track painted in white matching the brand’s lettering beneath the star-shaped logo at noon.
In the steel variant the dial comes with a sky blue background and rhodium-plated accents, while in the black ceramic version the darkened dial is adorned with rose gold indices.
At its heart runs the high-frequency Caliber El primero 3630, with a robust shock resistance, reaching 36,000 Bph, offering up to 68 hours of power reserve and decorated with Côtes de Geneve on the bridges.
Watches that come attached to an integrated bracelet in the same material as the case are offered with an extra rubber strap in blue for the steel version and in black for the black ceramic variant with an extendable clasp.
The watches are now available at the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers priced at CHF 55,000 and CHF 65,000 for the steel and ceramic versions respectively.
