Zenith Makes The Return Of The Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar
In addition to the new Green Chronomaster in steel and the Meteorite dial in gold, another of the great news brought by Zenith is the new Chronomaster Triple Calendar.
This addition marks the return of the complication of the annual calendar to the sphere of El Primero, which has always been characterized by being able to present a balanced and easy-to-read dial without compromising its genesis.
Let’s see how everything is arranged on the dial, maintaining the tricompax layout, keeping a 60-seconds register at 3 o’clock, a 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock that now adds a moon-phase aperture, and a running seconds at 9, now also including a small weekday window at 10 o’clock and on the opposite side at 2 o’clock another one with the month that come together to the existing date window at 4:30. On the dial we can also find a 1/10th seconds inner ring and golden hour markers and three centre hands all filled with Super-LumiNova.
On the outside, the watch comes in a 38mm round stainless steel case, which features a brushed finish on the surfaces and polished on the sides, sapphire glass on both sides, domed sapphire crystal, fluted crown with the brand’s signature at 3 o’clock and two pushers buttons, open case back and 50m of waterproofing.
The column-wheel chronographs come equipped with the high-speed El Primero 3610 automatic movement, which reaches 36,000 Bph and offers up to 60 hours of power reserve.
The new Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar arrives in three variants, one with a Panda dial with a silvery white background and black registers, another with a gray dial and white sub-dials and finally an exclusive Boutique edition that comes with an olive green dial and white counters.
The new watches that are now available in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers can be purchased for €13,400 if they come with a leather strap and for €13,900 if they come with a steel bracelet.
