Zenith Chronomaster Sport Now Arrives In Titanium
The LVMH week is over but it seems that the news brought by Zenith is not yet done, with the brand now debuting the new Chronomaster Sport in titanium.
The Chronomaster Sport, which only arrived in 2021 and is nothing more than the contemporary version of the original Chronomaster, which over these just over three years already has an extensive collection, in different materials and colors, and titanium was one of the pieces which was missing until today.
The new Chronomaster Sport now comes entirely dressed in Grade 5 titanium. In addition to the exterior design, it also maintains the layout of the dial and, as expected, the powerful internal movement.
Wearing the same 41mm diameter by 13.80mm thick round case that comes with mainly brushed finish and polished on the bevels, it features a 1/10th per seconds bezel in the same case material with satin finish, sapphire glass, signed crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two pump-pushers, open case back secured with 4 screws and 100m of waterproofing.
The ‘Nickel-Gray’ dial is also a first, which comes in a sunburst gray hue with the usual tri-color subdials scheme, with an anthracite 60-seconds register at 3 o’clock, a gray 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock and a silver running seconds at 9 o’clock and also, a date window at 4:30. To which are added the silver applied hour markers, hands filled with Super-LumiNova and a chronograph center seconds hand with a red tip similar to what we find on the other two hands assigned to the function.
Inside, it continues to be controlled by the El Primero 3600 high-frequency automatic movement, which reaches 36,000 Bph and offers up to 60 hours of power reserve, which we can see operating through the open rear case highlighting the skeletonized rotor in the shape of a star, symbol of the brand.
The watch is available with a bracelet in the same material as the case or with an integrated black FKM rubber strap, with prices ranging between CHF 11,900 and CHF 11,400 for the first or second options respectively.
