Yema × Seconde/Seconde/ Yachtingraff: A Playful Twist On A Regatta Classic
Yema revisits its regatta heritage with a striking reinterpretation of the Yachtingraf, this time in collaboration with the Parisian artist Romaric André, known as seconde/seconde/. The new Yachtingraff blends nautical tradition with a graffiti-inspired design language, creating a chronograph that stands out both visually and mechanically.

Contemporary Form, Vintage Soul
The Yachtingraff is based on Yema’s current Yachtingraf Croisière platform—a meca-quartz chronograph with proportions that echo the 1960s original. It comes in a 38.50 mm stainless steel case, with a 46 mm lug-to-lug distance and a 12.30 mm thickness (including the double-domed Hesalite crystal). The case features a polished top surface and brushed case sides, maintaining a dynamic finish that complements its dual design nature—part regatta tool, part street art canvas.

Seiko-Powered Precision
Inside the watch ticks the Seiko VK63 meca-quartz chronograph movement. This hybrid caliber delivers mechanical-style tactile chronograph operation powered by quartz accuracy, rated at ±20 seconds per month. Its layout includes a 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock, running seconds at 6 o’clock, and a prominent regatta countdown sub-dial at 9 o’clock.
Regatta Dial with an Urban Edge
The visual centerpiece of the Yachtingraff is its graffiti-themed dial. Set against a black base, the sub-dials appear as if they’ve been spray-painted and left to drip—adding a layered, textural effect that brings depth to the design. The big-eye countdown sub-dial at 9 o’clock retains its nautical function with dual countdown arcs, readable from both tips of the hand—ideal for timing regatta starts.

The Yema logo at 12 o’clock is flanked by a stylized version of the “Yachtingraf” name, now ending in a deliberately misspelled “Yachtingraff,” hinting at the collaboration’s street art influence. The pencil-style hour and minute hands and applied indices are filled with luminous material for low-light readability.
Spray Can Pushers & Artistic Details
A standout element is the spray-can-inspired chronograph pushers, featuring engraved and color-accented caps in red and blue, directly referencing the visual tools of graffiti artists. Between them sits a signed push-pull crown, completing the case’s trio of tactile components.

The closed steel case back is engraved with the phrase “La Croisière, ma muse,” the French title given to the popular American TV series ‘The Love Boat’. It underlines the watch’s inspiration—both the seafaring heritage and the imaginative overlay of the artist’s vision.
