Yema Updates Navygraf Dive Watch With Slimmer Case And In-House Movement
Yema’s Navygraf military-spec dive watch returns with an in-house movement, a thinner case and a redesigned dial.
The new launch reinforces the close connection with the French armed forces, specifically with the Marine Nationale (French Navy) established in 2020, now presenting a more modernized version of the historic Navygraf diving watch from the 70s.
The watch wears a round stainless steel case measuring 39mm in diameter and 11mm thick, which means a slimming of 1.50mm, featuring a brushed finish, domed sapphire crystal, unidirectional bezel with blue sapphire insert and filled 60-minute scale with Super-LumiNova or a white full-lumed insert, screw-down crown at 3 o’clock flanked by guards, screwed open case back that is engraved with the Marine Nationale anchor just like the crown, and finally 300m of water resistance.
The blue dial comes with a new arrangement, with white round hour markers, which at the four cardinal points are replaced by squares and triangles, which together with the pencil hands are filled with the same luminescent material as the bezel, a matching yellow centre seconds hand with the inscription “Navygraf” at noon below the brand’s logo and lettering, which on the opposite side at 6 o’clock is filled with “300 Meters” followed by “Automatique” and “Marine Nationale”, the latter in the form of a smile face.
On its heart now beats the CMM.10 automatic movement with 27 jewels and 208 components, which has an accuracy of -3/+5 seconds per day, running at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 70 hours of power reserve.
The watch is available with a steel bracelet with a dive extension for €1,690 or an elastic Parachute strap for €1,590.
