French watchmaker Yema introduces the Superman Titanium Moontide CMM.11 Limited Edition, a new interpretation of its iconic dive watch that combines a lunar-inspired aesthetic with modern materials and a manufacture movement. Limited to 400 pieces, the watch features a fully titanium construction, a textured dial inspired by the Moon’s surface, and professional diving capabilities.

A Dial Inspired by the Moon’s Surface

The most distinctive feature of the Superman Titanium Moontide is its textured titanium dial, designed to evoke the rugged mineral landscape of the Moon. The dial is created using an oil-press technique applied over a sandblasted base, producing a subtle cratered texture that interacts with light in different ways depending on the viewing angle. This effect creates a visual impression reminiscent of moonlight reflecting across the ocean’s tides.

To ensure strong readability, the dial features applied hour markers paired with brushed IP black-plated hands, creating a clear contrast against the textured background. Both the markers and hands are treated with Grade A Super-LumiNova BGW9, which emits a bright blue glow in low-light conditions. A date window positioned at 6 o’clock preserves the symmetry of the dial while maintaining functionality.

The dial is protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal, which enhances the sense of depth while offering excellent scratch resistance and clarity.

Ceramic Dive Bezel

Encircling the dial is a unidirectional ceramic dive bezel designed for accurate underwater timing. The bezel features a 0–60 minute graduation used to track dive duration, while a luminescent triangle at 12 o’clock, filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9, ensures visibility even in very dark underwater environments. The ceramic insert also improves durability, offering strong resistance to scratches and long-term wear.

38.5mm Titanium Case

The watch is housed in a 38.50 mm case crafted from Grade 2 titanium, paired with a 47 mm lug-to-lug length that provides balanced proportions and comfortable wear on a wide range of wrists. The case design incorporates subtly curved lugs, allowing the watch to sit naturally and ergonomically.

Grade 2 titanium was selected for its combination of light weight, durability, and corrosion resistance, making it well suited for demanding environments such as diving. The material is also hypoallergenic, ensuring comfort for daily wear.

Visually, the case features vertically brushed surfaces contrasted with mirror-polished bevels, creating a refined play of light that emphasizes the geometry of the case.

The Superman Titanium Moontide maintains 300 meters of water resistance, reinforcing its capabilities as a professional-grade dive watch.

Manufacture CMM.11 Movement

Powering the watch is the YEMA Manufacture CMM.11 automatic caliber, visible through a sapphire exhibition case back while still preserving the watch’s 300-meter water resistance.

This movement delivers chronometric-level performance and offers an extended 70-hour power reserve, allowing the watch to run for nearly three days without winding. The sapphire case back also reveals the mechanical architecture of the movement, adding a technical dimension to the watch.

Each case back is engraved with an individual limited-edition number out of 400 pieces, along with a unique serial number that is also recorded on the five-year warranty card for full traceability.

Titanium Bracelet and Rubber Strap Options

The watch can be paired with Yema’s signature Scales bracelet, an iconic design originally introduced in the 1960s. For this model, the bracelet is manufactured entirely from Grade 2 titanium, maintaining the same lightweight and corrosion-resistant qualities as the case. The bracelet has been refined with a reduction in thickness of 0.40 mm and features a gradual taper from the clasp, improving comfort and allowing it to conform naturally to the wrist. A double-security folding clasp with a dive extension makes it easy to adjust the bracelet when worn over a diving suit.

Alternatively, the watch can be fitted with an integrated FKM Viton rubber strap, designed for demanding conditions. This material is known for being flexible, lightweight, dust-resistant, and highly durable, making it particularly suitable for sports or diving use. The strap is secured with a sandblasted steel buckle.

The Yema Superman Titanium Moontide CMM.11 Limited Edition is limited to 400 pieces worldwide. It is priced at € 2,190 when fitted with the titanium bracelet, while the version on the FKM rubber strap is priced at € 1,890.
