Vulcain Unveils Six New Skindiver Nautique Timepieces

Vulcain has just announced the arrival of six new Skindiver Nautique to its permanent collection, joining the two existing models in steel with a blue and black dial.

The new variants arrive in phases, with the first round starting tomorrow with the launch of 4 variants, two in stainless steel with a yellow gold PVD coated and a matte blue or matte black dial and the other two coming in a steel case with a bronze PVD coated and matte grey or matte black dial. The second round begins on April 24th with the launch of the last two new products, which come with a steel case and an orange or green dial.

The new additions to the Skindiver Nautique collection do not present anything new in terms of innovations, maintaining the same layout inside and out, so we will find a round steel case measuring 38mm in diameter by 12mm thick, unidirectional bezel with black ceramic insert except for the blue variant which comes with a bezel in the same tone, domed sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature, screwed solid case back and the same 200m of water resistance.

On the dial, a simplistic design translates into a minute track near the edges and three central hands that, like the hour markers, are presented in the same shade as the case material and are filled with Super-LumiNova.

Inside we once again find the ETA 2824 automatic movement with 25 jewels, which runs at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.

The watches come attached to a black Tropic-type rubber strap and prices vary between €1,610 for the steel versions and €2,150 for the bronze PVD versions.
