Vintage Grails, Hidden Gems And Great Deals: Tempo Passado Recap
A week has passed since another edition of Tempo Passado, Portugal’s largest and most beloved vintage watch fair, opened its doors to collectors, enthusiasts, and friends of the watchmaking world. Organized with the impeccable dedication we’ve come to expect from DezDez and IPR, the event once again proved why it has become a reference for vintage watch lovers both in Portugal and abroad.

This year’s edition brought together a vibrant mix of exhibitors, seasoned collectors, curious newcomers, and passionate aficionados — all united by the same magnetic pull: the timeless beauty of mechanical watchmaking.
A Room Filled With History, Rarity, and Good Vibes
Tempo Passado has always been about more than watches; it’s about the atmosphere.
And this year, the energy inside the venue was unmistakable — buzzing, warm, and deeply nostalgic.

From the moment you walked through the door, you were greeted by rows of carefully curated tables displaying everything from entry-level classics to rare grail pieces. A quick panorama of the room revealed a community fully immersed in discovery, conversation, and appreciation.
A Treasure Trove: From Omega to Rolex, Cartier to Seiko
Collectors were spoiled with an impressive selection of vintage pieces across all major brands. Among the standout highlights were several pristine Omega Constellation models in excellent condition and offered at surprisingly attractive prices. Just behind them sat a charming Universal Genève Polerouter — a subtle yet powerful reminder of why this model continues to rise in collectability and respect within the community.

There were also two superb vintage Vacheron Constantin watches on display, each one representing the brand’s discreet approach to luxury and old-school craftsmanship. Nearby, a pair of elegant Eterna KonTiki models added to the diversity of the offerings, proving once again that understated tool-watch heritage never loses its appeal.
Whether visitors were on the hunt for iconic designs from the 1960s, searching for rare references, or simply browsing with curiosity, the fair delivered an impressive mix of variety, history, and quality.
Beyond Watches: A Haven for Watchmaking Culture
Tempo Passado also showcased a wide selection of horological merchandise — straps, books, tools, vintage ads, memorabilia, and more. It was the kind of environment where both seasoned collectors and beginners could find something to take home.

One of the fair’s strongest points has always been its accessibility. Prices spanned a vast range, reinforcing a crucial message: you don’t need to be wealthy to enter the world of watch collecting. Curiosity and passion are all you need.
A Walk Through the Stands: The Soul of the Event
Walking from stand to stand was like flipping through the pages of watchmaking history. Vendors proudly shared stories, tips, origins, and anecdotes behind their pieces. Every table felt like a micro-museum — curated with care, shaped by expertise, and enriched by genuine enthusiasm.

It’s this human element — the exchange of knowledge, the shared appreciation, the spark in someone’s eye when they discover their next favorite piece — that makes Tempo Passado so special.
A Temporary Goodbye… Until 2026
This edition also marked a bittersweet moment: Tempo Passado will now take a break until 2026.
But if this year’s turnout and spirit are anything to go by, the next edition is set to be even more unforgettable.

For now, we say goodbye to an event that continues to strengthen the watchmaking community in Portugal — fostering connection, discovery, and the preservation of mechanical timekeeping heritage.
