Venezianico Launches Nereide Aureo With Exclusive Gold-Plated Dial
Nereide Aureo is the latest dive watch brought by Venezianico, it arrives in a limited edition and comes with a unique gold dial.
The gold-plated laminated dial recalls the patina of old watches and, according to the brand, is inspired by the laminated materials found in Basilica di San Marco. Its production goes through an electrolytic process with a 24k gold bath and several varnish layers that make each one unique, with no two being the same.
On the outside, we find a stainless steel case with dimensions of 42mm wide, 13.50mm high and 49mm long that comes with a mainly brushed finish. Featuring a 60-minute bezel with a polished Tungsten insert, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown at 3 o’clock flanked by guards, solid case back held by 6-screws and engraved with the Basilica and 200m of water resistance.
The textured dial is adorned with a golden minute chapter ring on which stand polished hour markers suspended which, like the hands, are filled with Super-LumiNova, a framed date window with a white background next to the crown and the brand’s logo embossed at noon.
Inside it runs the 26-jewel Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, which reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.
The watch comes attached to the new 5-link Sansovino bracelet with polished middle links, the rest matching the case, and a folding clasp with micro-adjustments engraved with the brand’s cross.
In total, 500 watch units will be available for a pre-order period on July 26th for €1,035, which then rises to €1,295.
