Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Celebrates 30 Years
Three decades after the launch of the Overseas collection, Vacheron Constantin celebrates its 30th anniversary with a special edition of one of its most technically sophisticated models: the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin.
Limited to 200 pieces, reference 4300V/220G-H119 combines an 18K white gold case and integrated bracelet with a new lighter azure dial. At its heart is the self-winding Calibre 1120 QP/1, an ultra-thin perpetual calendar movement measuring just 4.10 mm thick.
30 Years of the Overseas
Introduced in 1996 as Vacheron Constantin’s modern interpretation of a luxury sports watch, the Overseas has evolved considerably over three generations while retaining its distinctive identity.

The current generation arrived in 2016, introducing softer case lines and the now-familiar tool-free interchangeable strap system. The Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin became one of its most technically impressive interpretations, combining the collection’s sporty architecture with one of traditional watchmaking’s most demanding complications.
For the 30th anniversary, Vacheron Constantin retains the 41.50 mm case but gives the watch a new visual character.
A New Azure Dial
The most noticeable change is the lighter azure dial, created with multiple layers of lacquer that provide depth and subtle variations in colour depending on the light.

The calendar displays the day, date and month across three sub-dials, accompanied by a matching blue moon-phase disc at six o’clock. Applied 18K white gold markers and hands contrast with the blue background, while Super-LumiNova provides additional legibility in low light.
The result is a cleaner and brighter interpretation of the familiar Overseas aesthetic.
Calibre 1120 QP/1
Behind the dial is the 4.10 mm-thick Calibre 1120 QP/1. Its 276 components automatically account for months of 28, 30 and 31 days, as well as leap years, with the perpetual calendar remaining accurate until 2100.

The self-winding movement can be admired through the sapphire case back. Its finishing includes Côtes de Genève, bevelled bridges and perlage, while the 22K gold rotor features a compass-rose engraving inspired by the Overseas’ travel theme.
The watch offers 50 metres of water resistance.
Three Interchangeable Straps
As with other contemporary Overseas models, versatility is built into the design.

The watch comes with an integrated 18K white gold bracelet featuring the collection’s characteristic half-Maltese-cross links and a micro-adjustment clasp. It is accompanied by white and denim-blue rubber straps, both interchangeable without tools, with a matching white-gold pin buckle.
