Vacheron Constantin Introduces Two New Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Models
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin returns with two refined new interpretations, reaffirming the collection’s place among the most elegant luxury sports watches. Combining slim proportions with mechanical complexity, these models showcase Vacheron Constantin’s mastery of both design and haute horlogerie.

Ultra-Thin Case and Refined Proportions
Measuring 41.50 mm in diameter and just 8.10 mm thick, the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin remains one of the thinnest perpetual calendar sports watches on the market. Despite its slim build, the watch retains the robust character of the Overseas collection, featuring a barrel-shaped case topped by the distinctive Maltese cross-inspired bezel.

The case and bracelet are fully crafted in precious gold, highlighting Vacheron Constantin’s attention to finishing and comfort. The integrated bracelet includes a folding clasp with Easy-Fit micro-adjustment, and thanks to the quick-release strap system, each model is delivered with two additional rubber straps for versatile wear.
Perpetual Calendar Movement
At the heart of the watch is the Calibre 1120 QP, an ultra-thin automatic movement descended from the same base caliber that powered the legendary 222. Now produced in-house, this mechanism combines traditional watchmaking artistry with modern reliability. It offers a full perpetual calendar that displays the day, date, and month, as well as a 48-month indication that incorporates the leap year cycle. A moonphase display enriches the dial, while central hands indicate the hours and minutes. Operating at a frequency of 2.75 Hz, the movement provides a power reserve of approximately 40 hours and carries the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva certification, a guarantee of its exceptional finishing and craftsmanship.

Two Distinct New Editions
Vacheron Constantin introduces two permanent-collection versions. The first is the pink gold edition, which is entirely crafted in 18K pink gold. From the case and bracelet to the dial, hands, markers, and even the moonphase disc, every detail is harmonized in warm tones of gold for a seamless, elegant look. The second is the white gold and burgundy edition, a striking contrast that pairs an 18K white gold case with a deep burgundy lacquered dial. The sub-dials and moonphase are tone-on-tone with the dial, while the hands and applied markers in white gold enhance both legibility and refinement.

Pricing and Availability
Both versions of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin are part of Vacheron Constantin’s regular production and are priced at € 138,000.
Final Note
The Overseas collection, which until now included five perpetual calendar references—three in rose gold and two in white gold, with three featuring skeletonized dials and two fitted with blue dials—now expands its offering of solid-dial models to four. The new releases bring a welcome freshness, particularly the white gold version with its deep burgundy dial, which stands out as the most distinctive of the two.

While the slim profile remains one of the watch’s greatest strengths, the 41.50 mm diameter continues to pose a challenge for smaller wrists. It is somewhat surprising that Vacheron Constantin has not yet introduced an intermediate size to bridge the gap between the 35 mm and 41 mm models within the collection. For many, this remains the line’s main drawback, even as the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin remains a remarkable expression of elegance and technical refinement.
