Unimatic’s New UT1-GO And UT5-AS Bring Alpine Colors To Classic Tool Watch Design
Unimatic expands its catalogue of minimalist tool watches with two new limited-edition references: the Modello Uno UT1-GO and the Modello Cinque UT5-AS. Both models stay true to the brand’s signature blend of pared-back design and technical robustness, while introducing updated lume architecture and refined dial execution.
Italian Alps Inspiration
These new releases form part of the brand’s Alps collection, a series shaped by the landscapes of northern Italy, where Unimatic originates. The visual language of the collection draws directly from the region’s natural environment.

The dials come in shades influenced by Alpine Sky Blue and Glacier White, colors chosen to reflect the vivid tones of the mountain sky and the serene clarity of glacial snow. Each dial aims to capture the softness, brightness, and elemental stillness associated with high-altitude landscapes, giving the watches a distinct sense of place without departing from Unimatic’s minimalist identity.
Two Models, One Design Philosophy
Although the UT1-GO and UT5-AS belong to different families within the Unimatic lineup, the two watches share a common direction: clean aesthetics, solid engineering, and features that prioritize usability.
Modello Uno UT1-GO
The Modello Uno UT1-GO is presented in a 41.5-millimeter stainless steel case. It follows the familiar diver format of the Uno series, equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel and a screw-down crown with protective guards. Its construction supports a water-resistance rating of 300 meters, reinforcing its identity as a capable underwater instrument.

Modello Cinque UT5-AS
The Modello Cinque UT5-AS offers a more compact option with a 36-millimeter stainless steel case. It features a smooth, smooth bezel that emphasizes clarity and simplicity, consistent with the Cinque line’s design approach. Despite its refined proportions, the watch maintains the same 300-meter water resistance as the Uno, achieved through its screw-down crown and robust case architecture.

Dial and Lume Innovations
Both references incorporate Unimatic’s updated dial architecture. The most notable enhancement is the use of Unilight 3D luminous markers, hand-applied and raised above the dial to create added depth and improved readability. The dials are made from 316L stainless steel, and both models are powered by the Seiko VH31A quartz movement, chosen for its reliable sweep-seconds display.

Strap and Wearability
Each watch is paired with a fumo deer leather strap, selected for its softness and tactile quality. The straps are equipped with a quick-release mechanism, allowing for easy changes without tools and adding to the practicality of daily wear.
Limited Production
Unimatic has restricted production to 300 units per reference, with each piece individually numbered. This limited-run approach reflects the brand’s continued emphasis on exclusivity and collectible releases.

Pricing and Availability
The Modello Cinque UT5-AS is priced at € 610, while the Modello Uno UT1-GO is priced at € 680. Both models are available through Unimatic and selected retail partners while supplies last.
