Unimatic Modello Quattro U4 GMT Returns In Two Limited Editions For Todd Snyder

Unimatic and New York designer Todd Snyder have teamed up once again for a new limited-edition take on the Modello Quattro U4 GMT. The collaboration introduces two variants that offer a clear “day and night” contrast, each produced in small numbers and scheduled for release on November 13, 2025, at 9 a.m. Eastern.

Limited Edition Models

The release includes two limited editions. One version features a black dial paired with a black-coated case and is limited to 100 pieces. The second version offers a cream dial in a stainless-steel case and is limited to 250 pieces. Both share the familiar 40 mm stainless-steel platform with a combination of brushed and polished finishing, preserving the sturdy, functional character associated with the Modello Quattro design language.

Updated Dial Layout

The most significant updates appear on the dial. Previous U4 GMT versions used either a laser-etched 24-hour bezel or an internal 24-hour disc visible through the dial. This collaboration shifts the entire 24-hour scale onto the dial itself, giving the display a cleaner and more direct layout.

Each model features contrasting print for maximum legibility: black print on the cream dial, white print on the black dial. The hour numerals introduce a geometric, that stands out against the minimalist dial design. The date aperture has been removed, further simplifying readability.

Movement and Functionality

Powering the watch is the Seiko NH34A GMT movement. This caller-GMT caliber offers hours, minutes, hacking seconds, and an independently adjustable 24-hour hand. It provides a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and runs at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a typical accuracy range that is broad but suitable for an accessible tool-style GMT.

Straps and Pricing

Both versions are fitted with quick-release textured suede straps, color-matched to each dial variant and secured with a classic pin buckle.

The models will retail for USD 998 and will be available exclusively through ToddSnyder.com and select Todd Snyder retail locations when the launch opens.
