Unimatic Launches Diving Heritage Series In Nine Limited Editions

Unimatic, the Milan-based independent watchmaker known for its minimalist tool watches, expands its lineup with the Diving Heritage Series, a new capsule collection comprising nine limited edition timepieces. The launch includes three core models — the Modello Uno (U1), Modello Uno GMT (U1 GMT), and Modello Tre (U3) — each presented in three vintage-inspired colorways: matte black, tropical brown, and vintage navy.

Case and Construction

All three models feature 41.50mm brushed stainless steel cases with a 300-meter water resistance rating. Each watch is individually pressure-tested, ensuring full compliance with ISO diving standards. The cases come equipped with screw-down crowns, while the Modello Tre chronograph is additionally fitted with screw-down pushers to maintain its depth rating.

Dial Design and Lume

The dials of the Diving Heritage Series adopt a nostalgic aesthetic, with “old radium” – colored Super-LumiNova applied to hour markers and hands. The lume provides a warm, aged appearance while ensuring excellent visibility in low-light conditions. The Modello Uno GMT is fitted with a distinctive hollowed-out GMT hand featuring an arrowhead tip filled with matching Super-LumiNova.

Each model includes a unidirectional aluminum bezel printed with Unimatic’s updated typeface, introduced in recent collections. The bezel markings follow the same warm-tone color palette to harmonize with the dial and strap.

Movements

The watches are powered by reliable Seiko movements, chosen for their robustness and ease of maintenance. The Modello Uno is equipped with the automatic Seiko NH35A, a three-hand movement with date display. The Modello Uno GMT uses the Seiko NH34A, an automatic movement with a caller GMT function, allowing tracking of a second time zone. The Modello Tre is powered by the Seiko VK64A, a hybrid mecha-quartz chronograph movement, which combines quartz precision with a mechanical chronograph feel.

Availability and Pricing

The Diving Heritage Series is a limited edition, with 300 pieces available per model and color variant. The Modello Uno and Modello Tre are priced at € 768.75, while the Modello Uno GMT is available at € 922.50.
