Unimatic And Massena Lab Team Up Again To Present The New U5S-ML Limited Edition
After the trilogy of Unimatic watches launched in partnership with Massena Lab between the beginning of 2020 and the end of 2021 with the references U1-ML6, U1-MLM and U1-MLB, which if you want to know more you can do so here, both brands come together again to present a new limited edition with the reference U5S-ML.
The new Unimatic x Massena Lab that wears the Modello Cinque arrives in a moderately sized case that should fit any wrist, inspired by German minimalist industrial design from the 60s and 70s.
The round stainless steel case comes with a 36mm diameter and 43.70mm lug-to-lug distance, brushed finish, curved lugs, sapphire glass on the front, oversized screw-down crown, screwed solid case back engraved with both brands, individual numbering and with the Fibonacci Sequence motif, and finally, a watertightness of 300m.
The matte black dial features an angled rehaut, a printed white minute track, blackened pencil hands filled with Super-LumiNova C1, a lollipop centre seconds hand with a yellow tip, a date window with a background matching the dial at 6 o’clock and just above three lines of text that include the brand’s lettering.
The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement that comes with hacking seconds, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 41 hours of power reserve.
This exclusive edition of 300 units, in addition to the tapered black rubber strap on which the watch is attached, the set also includes the usual military-style hard case with an extra yellow rubber strap matching the tone of the second’s hand tip which can be purchased for a price of USD 995 (excluding taxes).
