Ulysse Nardin expands its diver’s watch portfolio with the new Diver Hammerhead Shark, a limited-edition model that blends technical sophistication with a bold maritime identity. This 44 mm dive watch is produced in just 300 pieces and reaffirms the brand’s dedication to functional innovation and oceanic heritage.

Built for Performance

The Diver Hammerhead Shark features a 14.81 mm thick titanium case coated in blue PVD, offering a balance between lightweight durability and enhanced resistance to corrosion. The unidirectional rotating bezel incorporates a rubberised blue insert for improved grip, even in wet conditions. A 60-minute scale is present for timing dives, with a striking red “0” marker at 12 o’clock. Red crown guards flank the screw-down crown for added protection and style.

Rated for 300 metres of water resistance, the watch is suited for both professional diving and surface-level exploration. The caseback is engraved with a hammerhead shark and red inscriptions highlighting the limited-edition nature of the timepiece.

Distinctive Dial Design

The sandblasted blue dial is marked by a red-and-blue “X” motif at its center—a now-familiar design cue of Ulysse Nardin’s Diver series. Large, luminous hour markers and hands ensure visibility under low-light conditions. A small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock integrates a round date aperture, while at 12 o’clock, there is a power reserve indicator that provides an overview of the remaining energy.

Powered by the UN-118 Calibre

Inside the Diver Hammerhead Shark beats Ulysse Nardin’s In-house UN-118 automatic movement. This calibre is equipped with the brand’s DiamonSil escapement—a fusion of diamond and silicon that enhances resistance to wear and magnetic fields. A silicon balance spring further contributes to long-term reliability and precision. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 60-hour power reserve. A forward-and-backward quick-set date function adds practicality to daily wear.

Eco-Conscious Strap Options

The primary strap is made from blue rubber, adorned with a red hammerhead shark graphic and a PVD titanium link engraved with the Ulysse Nardin logo. The 1% for the Planet emblem is also present, symbolizing the brand’s commitment to marine conservation—specifically, support for the Shark Trust, a UK-based organization focused on shark protection. A secondary strap in blue fabric with red trim and Velcro closure is included for a more tactical look.
