Omega has expanded its Seamaster Diver 300M collection with two new high-end variations crafted entirely from precious metals. Available in proprietary 18K Moonshine gold or 18K Sedna gold, these models combine the luxury of gold construction with the professional-grade diving capabilities that define the Seamaster series.
Case and Construction
Both new editions maintain the collection’s familiar proportions — 42 mm in diameter, under 50 mm lug-to-lug length, and the hallmark lyre-shaped lugs. The cases feature a unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, and helium escape valve at 10 o’clock. Water resistance remains at 300 metres, ensuring full functionality as a professional diver’s watch despite the use of precious metals.
Sedna Gold Edition (Ref. 210.52.42.20.04.001)
Crafted from Omega’s proprietary 18K Sedna gold alloy, this edition is paired with a matching gold bezel featuring a 60-minute diving scale in positive relief over a textured background — a design similar to that seen in the Nekton and Paris 2024 editions. The polished white ceramic dial is decorated with laser-engraved waves and fitted with 18K Sedna gold skeleton hands and applied hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova. The white date window blends seamlessly with the dial. A brown rubber strap with a Sedna gold pin buckle completes the look.
Moonshine Gold Edition (Ref. 210.62.42.20.01.003)
This variant is made from 18K Moonshine gold, Omega’s exclusive yellow gold alloy. The bezel is crafted from black ceramic with a Ceragold 60-minute diving scale. The black polished ceramic dial, also featuring laser-engraved waves, is matched with Moonshine gold hands and indexes filled with luminescent material. It is fitted with a black rubber strap and a Moonshine gold pin buckle.
Movement
Both watches are powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8801, the precious-metal variant of the Calibre 8800 used in steel models. Certified by METAS, the movement offers magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss, operates at 25,200 vph, and provides a 55-hour power reserve via a single barrel. The Calibre 8801 is distinguished by its solid gold rotor and balance bridge, visible through the sapphire caseback.
