Tudor Unveils New Black Bay Chrono “Blue” Boutique Edition
Tudor brings a surprise for the end of this summer, we are talking about the just released Black Bay Chrono “Blue” Boutique Edition.
This is the chronograph version of the Black Bay line which, as its name suggests, comes with a blue dial and silver registers, that is, an inverted Panda blue dial.
Apart from the new satin blue tone of the dial, the watch doesn’t present any major new features, featuring the usual Bi-compax layout with a 45-minute register at 3 o’clock and running seconds at 9 o’clock, which are complemented by a date window with a white background at 6 o’clock. Snowflake hands and applied hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova and a chronograph centre seconds hand with a red tip complete the dial.
Housed in a stainless steel case measuring 41mm in diameter and 14.40mm thick, it features a polished and brushed finish, domed sapphire crystal, tachymeter bezel with blue aluminium insert, screw-down crown flanked by two pushers, screwed case back and 200m of water resistance.
Inside, we find again the MT5813 automatic movement, which is COSC-certified and comes equipped with a column wheel and vertical clutch, offering up to 70 hours of power reserve.
The new BB Chrono comes attached to the elegant tapered Jubilee-type bracelet with 5-links equipped with the comfortable T-Fit clasp that allows automatic adjustment according to the expansion of the wrist in different weather conditions.
The watch is now available exclusively at the brand’s official boutiques for €5,840.
