Tudor Black Bay 54 Arrives Now In “Electric Blue”
Tudor expands its compact dive watch lineup with a fresh take on the Black Bay 54, now presented in a refined “Electric Blue” colorway. As the third variation since the model’s 2023 debut, this release reinforces the brand’s commitment to blending vintage proportions with modern watchmaking standards.

A Compact Diver Rooted in Heritage
The Black Bay 54 draws direct inspiration from the historic Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner reference 7922, translating its minimalist tool-watch design into a contemporary format. With a 37 mm stainless steel case, 11.20 mm thickness, and a 46 mm lug-to-lug span, it remains one of the most wearable divers in Tudor’s current catalog.

This restrained sizing appeals not only to collectors seeking vintage-correct proportions but also to those who prefer a more versatile, everyday dive watch.
A Distinctive Blue Execution
Rather than echoing the tones seen on the Tudor Black Bay 58, this new variant introduces a more saturated blue, closer in spirit to the Tudor Pelagos 42.

The dial features a sunray-brushed blue finish that creates a dynamic interplay with light, enhancing its depth and character. Applied metallic indices are filled with white Grade A Super-LumiNova, ensuring strong legibility in low-light conditions. Surrounding the dial is a unidirectional 60-click bezel fitted with a matching blue aluminum insert, contrasted by silver-toned markings and a luminous pip positioned at 12 o’clock. Both the dial and crystal adopt a subtle dome, reinforcing the watch’s vintage-inspired aesthetic while maintaining a clean and contemporary feel.
Manufacture Movement Inside
Powering the watch is Tudor’s in-house MT5400 caliber, a COSC-certified movement designed for precision and durability. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, allowing the watch to run for nearly three days without winding. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the movement ensures stable timekeeping performance, while the inclusion of a silicon balance spring enhances resistance to magnetic fields and temperature variations.
Bracelet and Strap Options
The new Blue variant is available with either a three-link stainless steel bracelet or a cut-to-size rubber strap. The steel bracelet incorporates Tudor’s signature faux rivet design, adding a subtle vintage touch, while the rubber strap provides a more contemporary and sport-oriented alternative. Both options are equipped with the brand’s T-fit clasp system, which allows the wearer to adjust the fit quickly and easily across five positions without the need for tools, significantly improving everyday comfort.

Pricing and Positioning
The Tudor Black Bay 54 “Electric Blue” is priced at CHF 3,850 when paired with the stainless steel bracelet, while the rubber strap version is offered at CHF 3,650.
A Balanced Addition to the Collection
With this release, Tudor introduces a more versatile and widely appealing color option to the Black Bay 54 lineup. Positioned between the classic black dial and the more unconventional Lagoon Blue variant, the new “Electric Blue” strikes a balance between heritage-inspired design and modern refinement, further strengthening the model’s position as a compact, capable dive watch in today’s market.
