Tricompax Baltic Now Arrives As a Regular Collection
In August of this year, we announced the arrival of the Tricompax Baltic through a collaboration with Peter Auto, a timepiece inspired by the 60s with Panda dial and in the form of a limited edition of 300 pieces. And today, after three months, the regular production Tricompax arrives, and in two different versions, with Panda and reverse Panda dial.
The similarities are more than evident between the model launched in August and the one launched now, maintaining the same external and internal design (with some nuances) and movement.
But let’s get to the facts, the new Tricompax Baltic is presented in a stainless steel case of 39.5mm in diameter by 13.5mm in thickness including the double dome sapphire crystal, 47mm of lug-to-lug distance, brushed aluminium tachymeter bezel, engraved crown and two pump-pushers, solid case back numbered for the first 200 units and 50m of water resistance.
It is on the dial that the two new Tricompax models differ, dropping the previous orange and yellow accents of the Peter Auto special edition. Thus, the Panda dial model features a matte beige dial, with three registers and an outer ring all in black, while the reverse Panda model comes with a matte black dial and white registers and an outer ring (or shall we say, a more faded beige than the beige shown on the Panda version), in addition to the common details between the two models, which includes plated applied hour markers and dauphine hands filled with Super-LumiNove and a radial pattern on the sub-dials (with plated/black small hands for the Panda /reverse models).
Inside, there is no change, continuing to come equipped with the Sellita SW510-M manual movement, which operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 63 hours of power reserve.
Finally, the chronographs are offered with a brushed stainless steel adjustable flat link bracelet inspired by the 70s, or with a light grey calf leather strap, which can be quickly removed without the aid of any tools.
The chronographs will be available from December 1st through the brand’s online store and should start to be delivered from April 2023, with prices ranging from €1,585 (without VAT) for the version with a leather strap and €1,645 (without VAT) for the version with a steel bracelet.
