Timor Watch Company Announces The Arrival Of The New Modern Field 100M
The Timor Watch Company announces the arrival of its contemporary iteration of the Field watch which now comes dressed completely in black with a stealthy appearance.
The new watch, which generally maintains the moderate dimensions of its two older brothers, arrives in a stainless steel case with an anti-glint PVD finish with dimensions of 36.50mm in diameter, 45.50mm in lug-to-lug distance and 12mm in thickness which means it is 1mm thicker thanks to the new 100m of water resistance, double that of previous models but managing to maintain the 94g of weight.
The black dial receives a new layout, which has the previous retro railway track replaced by a modern white minute track, to which is added printed Arabic numerals in a new font consisting of two scales, a large outer one painted with the first twelve hours and a reduced one internal with the second twelve hours of the day. The two central pencil hands are now filled with BGW9 & C1 Super-LumiNova leaving behind the previous beige luminescent material. At 6 o’clock the small seconds remain in a new half-moon format that almost makes us think of a retrograde counter, whose black hand comes with a luminescent tip and a counterweight in the same size and shape.
There are no new features inside, with the modified Sellita SW260 automatic movement continuing to operate without a date window, which operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.
The Modern Field 100M, which comes attached to a black NATO-type textile strap, is already in a pre-order period and is expected to be shipped in early summer 2024. The new watch is priced at €972.95, which means a prize of €40 compared to its predecessors, which can easily be explained by the increased watertightness.
