Timex’s Deepwater Meridian Now Features An Automatic GMT Movement
Timex continues to expand its growing Deepwater Meridian line with the introduction of the new Deepwater Meridian 200 Auto GMT, a travel-ready dive watch that combines 200-meter water resistance with a GMT complication and a design inspired by some of the most recognizable dual-time watches on the market.

The latest release builds on the success of the Deepwater Meridian family while introducing an automatic GMT movement, updated styling, and three distinctive colorways aimed at enthusiasts looking for an affordable mechanical travel watch.
A Familiar Design With GMT Character
The new Deepwater Meridian GMT retains the robust round-shaped case that has become a hallmark of the collection, now paired with a bidirectional 24-hour bezel instead of the traditional dive timing bezel. The result is a watch capable of tracking a second time zone while maintaining its sporty diving credentials.

Available in green, blue, and black, each version features a matching dial and bezel insert, creating a bold monochromatic appearance. The color combinations inevitably recall some of the most famous GMT watches ever produced, although Timex gives each model its own identity by extending the bezel color onto the dial rather than opting for a black dial across the range.
A magnified date window at 3 o’clock, applied hour markers, prominent hands, and generous Super-LumiNova complete the highly legible display.
Automatic GMT Movement
One of the biggest upgrades is found inside the watch. The Deepwater Meridian 200 Auto GMT is powered by a 21-jewel automatic movement equipped with a GMT function, allowing the additional hand to display a second time zone in conjunction with the 24-hour bezel.

This marks the first GMT-equipped movement in the Deepwater Meridian lineup and adds genuine travel functionality to the collection while maintaining an accessible price point.
Built For Everyday Adventures
The Timex Deepwater Meridian 200 Auto GMT comes in a 42 mm stainless steel case measuring 14.50 mm thick with a 48.80 mm lug-to-lug distance. The predominantly brushed finish reinforces its utilitarian character, while polished accents provide subtle contrast. It features a screw-down crown at 3 o’clock, protected by integrated crown guards, a solid screw-down case back, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters, making it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational diving.

The Deepwater Meridian 200 Auto GMT is paired with a Jubilee-style stainless steel bracelet fitted with a quick-release system, allowing owners to swap straps without tools.
