Timex Unveils The Deepwater Arctic With Premium Dive Watch Features
Timex continues to strengthen its growing dive watch portfolio with the introduction of the new Deepwater Arctic, a model that brings premium materials, versatile styling, and strong everyday specifications to an accessible price point.

Over the last couple of years, the Deepwater collection has become one of the brand’s most interesting lines, offering classic dive watch aesthetics combined with reliable performance and highly competitive pricing. With the new Arctic models, Timex introduces a more refined design language, highlighted by enhanced finishing details and upgraded materials.
A More Refined Deepwater Design
The new Timex Deepwater Arctic comes in a 40.50 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 11.50 mm, dimensions that make it wearable for a wide range of wrist sizes while preserving the robust character expected from a dive watch.

The case features clean lines with straight lugs and polished chamfers, giving it a sharper and more contemporary appearance. Protecting the dial is an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a welcome feature at this price point that improves scratch resistance and dial visibility.
The unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with a ceramic insert, adding both durability and a more premium visual finish. It includes engraved dive markings and a luminescent pip at 12 o’clock, ensuring readability in low-light conditions.
High-Legibility Dial With Strong Lume
One of the defining elements of the Deepwater Arctic is its dial layout.
For the first time within the Deepwater line, Timex introduces Arabic numerals at the four cardinal positions, giving the watch a sportier and more instrument-driven look. These numerals are paired with applied trapezoidal hour markers, each filled with Super-LumiNova for excellent nighttime legibility.

The hands follow the same functionality-first approach, with a distinctive broad-arrow minute hand, a bold hour hand, and an arrow-tipped seconds hand. Combined with the heavily lumed markers, the Arctic delivers strong readability, an essential feature for any serious dive-inspired timepiece.
Bracelet And Everyday Practicality
The watch is paired with a five-row stainless steel bracelet that adds a slightly more refined touch compared to a traditional three-link design.

It combines brushed outer links with polished center links, creating a nice contrast between sporty and dressier elements. Timex has also equipped the bracelet with quick-release spring bars, making it easy to switch to a rubber or fabric strap without tools.
A butterfly clasp completes the bracelet setup, while the screw-down crown and solid screw-down caseback help ensure the watch’s 200 meters of water resistance.
Quartz Movement And Accessible Pricing
Powering the Deepwater Arctic is a quartz movement, a practical choice that keeps maintenance low while offering reliable precision for daily wear.
This movement choice also allows Timex to keep pricing highly competitive despite the inclusion of features such as the sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, and Super-LumiNova lume.
Three Distinct Color Variants
The Deepwater Arctic is offered in three distinct colorways, each catering to different tastes.
The first two versions come in the most traditional dive watch combinations, with one featuring a black dial and matching black bezel, while the other is presented with a blue dial and blue bezel. Both options emphasize the classic tool-watch appeal that many enthusiasts look for in an everyday diver.

The third version takes a more elevated approach, pairing a black dial with gold-tone hands, indices, and Arabic numerals, alongside matching gold-tone accents on the crown, bezel, and center links of the bracelet. A particularly striking detail is the brown polished ceramic bezel, which gives this variant a more luxurious and distinctive presence on the wrist.
Pricing remains highly competitive, with the black and blue models retailing for € 289, while the more premium two-tone version is priced slightly higher at € 299.
