The American watchmaker Timex is joining the celebrations for America’s 250th anniversary with a series of special timepieces featuring a commemorative logo marking the historic milestone. Among the latest releases, two additions to the popular Marlin collection stand out: the limited-edition Marlin Jet Automatic America 250 and the more affordable Marlin America 250, which joins the brand’s permanent lineup.

While different in size, movement, and price point, both watches share a patriotic design language inspired by the colors of the American flag. White dials are paired with blue details and vibrant red accents, while matching blue straps complete the red, white, and blue theme.

Leading the duo is the Marlin Jet Automatic America 250, a limited edition of just 500 individually numbered pieces.

The silver-white dial embraces a more classic aesthetic, featuring blue Arabic numerals mixed with baton hour markers and an inverted triangle at 12 o’clock. Dauphine hands, a railway minute track running around the perimeter, and the same red central seconds hand found on its larger sibling contribute to its elegant appearance. The Timex and Marlin signatures are joined by the commemorative America 250 logo above 6 o’clock.

At its heart is a quartz analogue movement, chosen for its accuracy and low-maintenance operation.

Completing the watch is a blue natural crocodile-grain leather strap fitted with a stainless steel pin buckle. The Marlin America 250 is priced at just € 149, making it less than half the price of the automatic limited edition.
