Three New Panerai Luminor Due Now With Pastel Dial
Panerai expands its Luminor Due collection with three new entries, which are more elegant and cosmopolitan.
For the first time, the Italian watchmaker has chosen a palette of pastel colours on the dial, in blue, green and pink, which, in addition to the new tones, also stand out due to the new gradient finish that darkens from the top to the bottom, which is another novelty since within the brand we can find other variants that darken from the centre to the periphery but never before from top to bottom.
The three new Luminor Dues wear the traditional 38mm diameter polished steel case with curved lugs, now thinner and therefore more slender, crown at three o’clock with the characteristic semi-oval brake guard, whose shape also extends to the bracelet links that alternate between polished and brushed finishes. Also featuring sapphire glass, a steel case back and 50m of water resistance.
The beautiful dials feature the usual sandwich construction, with the first layer filled with Super-Luminova in a white tone that glows green in the dark and a second layer in pastel tones with cutouts of the stick hour markers and Arabic numerals, a date window at 3 o’clock, a running seconds at 9 o’clock, two pencil hands in the centre filled with lume and the black lettering of the brand at 12 o’clock.
Inside there is no news, operating the automatic movement P.900 that beats 28,800 Vph and offers up to 72 hours of power reserve.
This is an exclusive boutique collection, which is not a limited edition but is conditioned to the production of 500 units of each variant per year.
