Three New 37mm Citizen Promaster Dive Watches Join The Collection
Citizen has expanded its Promaster Dive collection by introducing three new Eco-Drive-powered dive watches in a compact 37mm case size. These new models join the permanent collection and are designed to cater to enthusiasts who appreciate smaller dive watches.
The watches feature a 36.5mm stainless steel case with a brushed finish, a unidirectional bezel equipped with a metal insert and a luminous pip at 12 o’clock, and a screw-down crown flanked by protective guards. The solid case back and mineral glass contribute to the robust design, ensuring a water resistance of up to 200 meters, a hallmark of Citizen’s dive watch heritage.
The dials boast a captivating sunray finish in bold colors—red, purple, and blue—complemented by applied hour markers and oversized luminescent hands for excellent readability. A date window with a white background is positioned adjacent to the crown, while a silvery-white minute chapter ring encircles the dial. The gilt seconds hand adds an elegant touch, appearing in yellow on the blue-dial variant. Prominent branding at 12 o’clock is paired with the “Eco-Drive” and “Diver’s 200” inscriptions at 6 o’clock, underscoring the watch’s capabilities.
At the heart of these dive watches is Citizen’s Eco-Drive E168 movement, which harnesses energy from any light source to eliminate the need for battery replacements. This innovative technology aligns with Citizen’s commitment to sustainability and precision.
The red and purple models are paired with a stainless steel 3-link bracelet and a signed folding clasp, priced at $450 each. The blue-dial version comes on a matching blue rubber strap with a steel pin buckle and is priced at $375.
