H. Moser & Cie. has expanded its celebrated Endeavour collection with a new interpretation of its most ingenious complication: the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Smoked Salmon. This model brings a refined mix of precious materials, a warm-toned dial, and one of the most intuitive perpetual calendar displays in modern watchmaking.

A Refined Case and Dial Combination

Unlike the earlier Streamliner releases in stainless steel, this new Endeavour comes in a 42 mm white gold case, measuring 13.10 mm thick. Its elegant lines frame a smoked salmon-toned griffé dial, enhanced by vertical brushing that gives the surface a striking depth. Applied 5N red gold indices add contrast and warmth, balancing the coolness of the white gold case.

Ingenious Calendar Display

At first glance, the dial looks deceptively simple—a signature trait of H. Moser & Cie. But behind the minimalism lies a highly functional display. The large date window is positioned at three o’clock, while a small central hand discreetly points to the month. At nine o’clock, a power reserve indicator provides a clear view of the movement’s remaining energy, and at six o’clock, a snailed subdial houses the running seconds. The clever arrangement allows for effortless readability of all calendar functions without compromising the purity of the design.

The Engine Inside

Powering the watch is the in-house HMC 800 calibre, a manually wound movement with an impressive minimum 7-day power reserve. It integrates H. Moser’s signature interchangeable escapement and double hairspring, ensuring long-term reliability and chronometric performance. The four-year leap-year cycle is visible on the movement side, keeping the dial side uncluttered and true to the brand’s philosophy of understated complexity.

Finishing Touches

The Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Smoked Salmon is paired with a dark brown alligator leather strap and secured with an 18-carat white gold pin buckle engraved with the Moser logo.

While the 42 mm case remains a real challenge for the average wrist, its gradient dial with a faded beige center and an almost black periphery blends perfectly with the red gold accents and ingeniously conceals a perpetual calendar in its minimalist layout.
