The Roadmaster Perseverer Enters Ball’s Core Lineup
Ball Watch has expanded its Roadmaster lineup with the introduction of the Roadmaster Perseverer as a non-limited production model. Originally launched in 2024 as the Roadmaster M Perseverer in a limited edition, the watch marked Ball’s entry into the integrated-bracelet steel sports watch segment. With this new release, the Perseverer becomes part of the brand’s permanent collection, bringing a more accessible specification while preserving the original design and core technical characteristics.

The Roadmaster Perseverer features a stainless steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter and approximately 12 mm in thickness. These dimensions place it squarely in the modern sports watch category while remaining wearable across a wide range of wrist sizes. The case design follows the established integrated-bracelet sports watch aesthetic, with flowing lines, angular transitions, and a strong 1980s design influence. The integrated steel bracelet continues this visual language, creating a cohesive and robust overall profile.

In keeping with Ball’s reputation for durability, the Perseverer incorporates the brand’s patented Amortiser anti-shock protection system. This construction uses an anti-magnetic ring surrounding the movement to reduce the impact of lateral shocks while also shielding the caliber from magnetic fields. The system is designed to enhance reliability in daily wear and reinforces the watch’s positioning as a technical sports model rather than a purely design-led piece.

Dial options remain consistent with the original release, with black, dark blue, and light blue variants available. Each dial is designed for legibility, featuring applied hour markers and Ball’s signature micro gas tube illumination, which provides continuous low-light visibility without relying on external light sources. At 6 o’clock, the previous inscription “Chronometer 80 Hours” now gives way to “Automatic Amortiser” reflecting the movement update.

Powering the Roadmaster Perseverer is the Ball RR1103 automatic movement. This caliber is based on a Sellita architecture and replaces the chronometer-certified manufacture movement used in the earlier limited edition. The RR1103 operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. While it does not carry chronometer certification, it is a widely used and serviceable movement that aligns with the watch’s transition into Ball’s regular production range.

The move to a non-limited configuration also brings a notable adjustment in pricing. The Roadmaster Perseverer is priced at € 1,600 excluding taxes, positioning it competitively within the segment of integrated sports watches that emphasize anti-magnetic and shock-resistant performance. This places the model between more accessibly priced tool watches and higher-end independent offerings, reflecting Ball’s long-standing focus on technical capability and robust construction.
With its combination of integrated sports watch design, protective engineering, and more attainable pricing, the Ball Roadmaster Perseverer represents a key addition to the brand’s core collection while maintaining the functional DNA that defines the Roadmaster family.
