The New Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic Arrives Ready For Summer
This year, Zodiac is once again presenting new watches “dedicated” to the summer, which this time arrive with the imprint of a ceramic case, after last year we saw the brand making its debut in this type of material.
The three new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf coolers now arrive in case, bezel and crown coated with white ceramic that gives them a slightly larger diameter than that found in steel versions whose optical illusion provided by the white tone could lead many to think the case is actually wider than just the advertised 1.0 mm. The case also features a 60-minute unidirectional bezel with a pip-lume, 200m water resistance and comes attached to a Tropic-style rubber strap.
Among the variants is the ZO9590 in blue, which comes with a blue dial and a blue light chapter ring, minute hand and strap. The ZO9591 in orange comes with a champagne dial and an orange chapter ring, minute hand and strap. And finally, the ZO9592 in green comes with a green dial and strap and an orange chapter ring and a minute hand.
The three Dive watches also share the radiant sunburst dial, applied hour markers now without outlines and are filled with Super-LumiNova, the same one that we can also find on the three central hands. The applied brand’s logo at 12 o’clock as the remaining printed inscriptions come in the same tone of the hour and second hands outline (in black for the orange and green variants and in white for the blue variant) with the exception of the “200M / 660FT” line at 6 o’clock that matches the shades of the chapter ring and minute hand.
Inside is the Swiss automatic movement STP 1-11 based on the ETA 2824-2 that brings the watches to life, which is Chronometer certified operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 44 hours of power reserve.
The watches are already available in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers and can be taken for USD 1,795.
