The New Tudor Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 Brings Updated Racing Colours
Following its collaboration with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One Team, Tudor continues to expand its motorsport-inspired lineup with the new Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26.” Building on the concept introduced with the Carbon 25 edition, this latest release refines the formula with updated aesthetics that mirror the team’s 2026 race car livery, while preserving the technical foundation that defines the model.

Carbon construction for performance and durability
The Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 retains its 42 mm case architecture, combining advanced materials to reduce weight while maintaining robustness. The case middle, bezel, and end-links are crafted from carbon fibre, giving the watch a distinctive matte texture and a notably lightweight feel on the wrist.

Complementing this are black PVD-coated titanium components, including the screw-down crown, chronograph pushers, and caseback. This mix of materials results in a watch that is both resilient and comfortable, suitable for everyday wear despite its motorsport inspiration.
A fixed tachymeter bezel, also in carbon fibre, reinforces the racing theme, while 200 meters of water resistance ensures versatility beyond the track.
Dial inspired by the VCARB 03
The most visible evolution in the Carbon 26 comes through its dial design. Inspired by the 2026 Visa Cash App Racing Bulls car (VCARB 03), the watch features a white base dial contrasted with carbon fibre sub-dials, maintaining the high-contrast, technical aesthetic introduced in the previous edition.
The dial construction is notably complex, using a layered structure that alternates brass elements with carbon fibre sheets, adding depth and texture.

New for this version are yellow accents, replacing the blue tones seen previously. These highlights are distributed across the minute track, the chronograph sub-dials, and even the date disc, creating a cohesive visual link with the racing livery. Even the date window is framed in carbon fibre, ensuring continuity in materials across the dial.
Classic Tudor design elements remain, including applied hour markers and signature hands, all outlined in black to enhance legibility against the bright dial.
Proven chronograph calibre
Powering the watch is the MT5813 automatic chronograph movement, a calibre developed by Tudor using the architecture of the Breitling B01. This movement integrates a column wheel mechanism for precise chronograph actuation and operates at a frequency of 4Hz, equivalent to 28,800 vibrations per hour. It delivers an autonomy of approximately 70 hours, making it well suited for extended wear without frequent winding.

The calibre is equipped with a silicon balance spring and a variable inertia balance, both contributing to improved stability and resistance to magnetic fields. It is officially certified by the COSC, and Tudor further refines its performance by regulating the fully assembled watch to an accuracy standard of -2 to +4 seconds per day.
Strap and limited availability
The Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 is paired with a hybrid leather and rubber strap, featuring a tyre-inspired pattern that reinforces its motorsport identity. The strap is secured by a black PVD-coated pin buckle, matching the technical aesthetic of the case.

This edition is released as a limited series of 2,026 pieces, a direct reference to the current racing season, and is priced at CHF 7,050.
