The New Tissot T-Touch Connect Sports Has Just Arrived
The new Tissot T-Touch Connect Sports is the latest solution that Tissot has found for people looking to have the best of both worlds, an analogue watch with smartwatch features.
With roots dating back to 1999 when it first appeared, this is its latest iteration, which to the previous functions linked to more extreme outdoor activities such as climbers and hickers now adds new day-to-day management features, outfit activities among many others, which make it more versatile and accessible to a wider audience.
The watch now wears a titanium case with a round shape and dimensions of 43.30mm in diameter by 13.50mm in thickness, which comes with a 60-minute fixed ceramic bezel, sapphire glass, two elongated side buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock that help with its handling along with the touch screen and 50m of water resistance that make it permeable to outdoor activities.
The black dial features a set of three central hands, with the minute and hour hands presenting a skeletonized shape and filled with luminescent material and a coloured seconds hand with the typical ‘T’-shaped counterweight. A raised black chapter ring with applied hour markers and a white minute track. Finally, the dial hides a digital window at 6 o’clock made of photovoltaic cells that eliminate the need to change batteries and which, even when not exposed to solar energy, guarantees its use for 6 months in connected mode.
The watch comes in six variants: blue bezel and matching rubber strap, black bezel and orange rubber strap, white bezel and matching rubber strap, black bezel and titanium bracelet, a black-out version with a black PVD in a stealthy style with a black rubber strap, and finally a version with a rose gold PVD with a brown bezel and a tan rubber strap.
Inside, the SwAlps operating system runs, which allows you to connect with your smartphone, which in addition to receiving notifications of calls, messages, alarms and reminders, also allows you to record sports and outdoor activities.
Prices vary between CHF 945 for the base version with a rubber strap and CHF 1,045 for the version with a titanium bracelet.
