TAG Heuer continues its close relationship with the Goodwood Festival of Speed by unveiling a special edition Monaco Chronograph created exclusively for the 2026 event. Produced in a highly limited run of just 71 pieces, the watch pays tribute to one of the world’s most prestigious automotive gatherings through a combination of classic Monaco design and British-inspired aesthetics.

A Monaco Dressed In British Racing Green

The standout feature of this limited edition is undoubtedly its dial, which adopts the iconic British Racing Green finish associated with generations of legendary racing cars. The sunray-brushed lacquered surface is complemented by beige chronograph registers and a matching minute track, creating an elegant vintage-inspired contrast.

Red accents reinforce the motorsport character of the watch. The chronograph sub-dial hands are finished in red, while a red marker positioned at the 39-second index references the current Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb record. The central chronograph seconds hand also features a checkered flag motif on its tip, another subtle reminder of the event’s racing DNA.

Classic Monaco Case

The watch retains the familiar square Monaco stainless steel case measuring 39 mm across, approximately 15 mm thick and spanning 47 mm from lug to lug. It comes fitted with a beveled sapphire crystal, sapphire exhibition caseback and offers 100 meters of water resistance.

Unlike some Monaco models inspired by the original 1969 reference with the crown positioned on the left, this edition adopts the contemporary configuration with the crown placed at 3 o’clock alongside the chronograph pushers.

Powered By The TH20-00 Manufacture Movement

Visible through the sapphire caseback is TAG Heuer’s in-house Calibre TH20-00 automatic chronograph movement. The integrated movement incorporates a column wheel and vertical clutch architecture, ensuring precise chronograph operation with smooth pusher feel.

Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the movement delivers an impressive 80-hour power reserve. The sapphire caseback is further personalized with the Goodwood Festival of Speed logo, highlighting the collaboration between the Swiss manufacture and the renowned motorsport event.

Vintage Strap Completes The Look

Completing the watch is a brown perforated leather strap inspired by classic racing gloves and vintage sports cars. The warm tone of the leather pairs naturally with the green and beige dial, reinforcing the nostalgic automotive theme that defines this special edition.

Limited To Just 71 Pieces

The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph x Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 will be available exclusively during the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place from July 9 to July 12. Production is limited to only 71 pieces, making it one of the rarest Monaco editions in recent years.

The watch is priced at GBP 7,750.
