The New Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01759: A Tool Watch Built On Tradition
Panerai expands its Luminor collection with the new Luminor Marina PAM01759, a model that highlights the essential characteristics that defined the brand’s early instrument watches. Built around robustness, legibility, and mechanical reliability, the new reference blends classic Panerai design codes with the modern in-house P.9010 automatic calibre.

A Familiar 44 mm Luminor Case With Upgraded Presence
The PAM01759 uses the signature 44 mm stainless steel Luminor case, complete with the iconic crown-protecting bridge. While the overall architecture is instantly recognisable, the watch gains a distinctive presence thanks to its domed sapphire crystal, which gives a subtle vintage impression reminiscent of early Panerai models originally equipped with plexiglass.

The case is fitted with a solid steel screw-down caseback, engraved with the individual number of the limited edition. With a water-resistance rating of 300 metres—tested beyond its indicated specification—the watch maintains the functional standards expected from a genuine tool-oriented Luminor.
Classic Sandwich Dial for Maximum Legibility
Panerai continues its commitment to readability with a matte black sandwich dial, a construction method that creates depth by placing luminous material beneath a stencil-cut upper layer. Full Arabic numerals and hour markers filled with green Super-LumiNova ensure strong visibility in all lighting conditions.

The dial layout remains intentionally simple: central hours and minutes, complemented by a small seconds display at 9 o’clock, a traditional feature on many of the brand’s historical diving pieces. Panerai has chosen to omit a date window, preserving a clean aesthetic and reinforcing the instrument-like character of the watch.
Powered by the In-House P.9010 Calibre
Inside the PAM01759 is Panerai’s P.9010 automatic movement, an in-house calibre designed for reliability and daily practicality. The movement is equipped with twin barrels, delivering a 72-hour power reserve, and features an independently adjustable hour hand, allowing quick timezone changes without stopping the movement.

Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the P.9010 offers stable performance and a compact profile that contributes to the overall wearability of the watch.
Straps and Limited Edition
The watch is delivered on a dark brown vintage-style calf leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle, adding a traditional touch. For more demanding environments, Panerai includes an additional black rubber strap, making the PAM01759 suitable for both daily wear and aquatic use.

Production is limited to 1,000 pieces, underlining its collectible appeal while maintaining the utilitarian spirit at the core of the Luminor Marina line.
