The New Norqain Wild One Skeleton X-Lite Weighs Just 45 Grams

Norqain has expanded its performance-oriented Wild One collection with the launch of the Wild One Skeleton X-Lite Limited Edition, a new ultra-lightweight mechanical sports watch that further pushes the boundaries of modern case engineering and wearability.

Designed as the lightest model in the Wild One family to date, the new limited edition weighs just 45 grams, combining advanced materials, an open-worked manufacture movement, and a highly shock-resistant construction created for active use.

Ultra-Lightweight Case Construction

Its case comes in at 41 mm in diameter, with a thickness of 11.95 mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 48.70 mm, dimensions that should offer a comfortable fit for a broad range of wrists while maintaining the bold presence expected from a modern sports watch.

The case itself is built using a highly technical multi-component architecture composed of more than 30 individual parts. To achieve its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, Norqain combines several advanced materials, including its proprietary X-Lite carbon fibre composite, NORTEQ, titanium, and aluminium. This new casing ring was specifically developed together with long-term manufacturing partner BIWI, with the clear objective of maximizing durability while keeping the overall weight to an absolute minimum.

The sculpted case profile and bezel also play an important role in this lightweight construction, with strategically removed material helping reduce mass without compromising the structural rigidity and robustness that define the Wild One collection.

Built for Performance

True to the model’s sporty DNA, the X-Lite has been engineered for demanding conditions. The Wild One platform is already known for its strong shock-resistant properties, and this latest edition continues that focus on performance despite its featherweight construction. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres, making it more than capable for everyday wear, training sessions, and recreational swimming.

Manufacture Calibre

Powering the watch is Norqain’s new manufacture Calibre 4K, developed in partnership with AMT. Fully visible from both the dial side and the caseback, this automatic movement features a skeletonised architecture that perfectly complements the technical nature of the watch.

The movement is also COSC chronometer-certified, ensuring a high level of precision, and delivers an upgraded 65-hour power reserve, representing a noticeable improvement over previous Wild One Skeleton references. Visually, the bridges adopt an architectural design inspired by mountain landscapes, a recurring signature within Norqain’s manufacture calibres.

Sport-Focused Strap Options

In terms of strap options, the Wild One Skeleton X-Lite is offered with two configurations. The first is a sporty black and yellow perforated rubber strap, which reinforces the dynamic look of the watch. The second introduces a more technical approach, combining a perforated rubber upper layer with an ultra-light interchangeable stretch-band underside, designed to naturally adapt to the wrist and improve comfort during physical activity.

Availability and Prices

Limited to just 200 pieces worldwide, the Norqain Wild One Skeleton X-Lite Limited Edition adds an exclusive new chapter to the brand’s performance-focused lineup.

The watch is available now for enquiries, with a retail price of € 10,650 on the black and yellow rubber strap.
