The New Kid On The Block: Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Debuts In Compact 34mm Size
The Nomos Club Sport has just made its entrance in the increasingly popular 34mm case size, a classic dimension that’s gaining traction beyond the female market, appealing to a broad range of enthusiasts. Nomos has expanded its well-known Club Sport collection with this smaller yet stylish model, aligning it with the current trend towards more compact watch sizes. This 34mm Club Sport joins its larger counterparts in the 37mm, 39mm, and 42mm sizes, sharing the reliable automatic Neomatik movement, which has become a signature feature in the series.
This latest Nomos Club Sport release offers three stunning dial colours: rosé, gold, and purple, each with captivating sunburst and sunray finishes that play beautifully with light. The dials are decorated with a mix of Arabic numerals and baton hour markers, both filled with Super-Luminova for enhanced legibility in low-light conditions. The watch hands, crafted in the classic pencil shape, are also treated with Super-Luminova. Additionally, a recessed small-second display sits at the 6 o’clock position, featuring a refined snailed background that adds an extra layer of sophistication to the dial’s overall look. At the noon position, the Nomos brand name and gilt Neomatik inscription stand proudly, reinforcing the watch’s quality and attention to detail.
The new Club Sport’s 34mm stainless steel case is sleek, measuring just 8.2mm in thickness, making it comfortable on the wrist. Its design is marked by a smooth bezel and long, elegantly shaped lugs. A fluted crown featuring the Nomos logo is positioned at 3 o’clock, offering both functionality and a touch of signature styling. The case back, available in either solid steel or sapphire glass, is screwed down to ensure water resistance up to 200 meters, adding robustness to this versatile model.
Inside the Club Sport is the 37-jewel Nomos Calibre DUW3001, an automatic movement known for its precision and reliability. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (VPH) and provides a power reserve of up to 43 hours, a testament to Nomos’ engineering excellence. This refined movement keeps the watch running smoothly while showcasing the brand’s expertise in German watchmaking.
The 34mm Nomos Club Sport is complemented by a sturdy 3-link stainless steel bracelet with a secure folding clasp, ensuring both comfort and durability. Prices for this model start at USD 3,060 for the solid case back version, while the sapphire glass back option is available for USD 3,390. With its mix of classic aesthetics, premium craftsmanship, and modern sizing, the new Nomos Club Sport 34mm is poised to become a favourite for those who appreciate understated elegance and versatile design.
