The New Jacques Bianchi OM200 Celebrates Olympique De Marseille

The unmistakable blue of Olympique de Marseille takes centre stage on the new Jacques Bianchi x Olympique de Marseille OM200, a 200-metre automatic diver that brings football references into the traditionally functional world of dive watches. Rather than simply adding a club logo to an existing model, the collaboration integrates several OM-inspired details into the watch’s design, from the bezel’s unusual timing scale to a football-shaped seconds-hand counterweight.

At its core, the OM200 remains a serious mechanical dive watch, combining a 42 mm stainless-steel case with a rotating bezel, strong lume and a COSC-certified Swiss automatic movement. The result is a watch that connects Jacques Bianchi’s diving-oriented design language with the identity of one of Marseille’s most recognisable sporting institutions.

A 200-metre diver with a football-inspired bezel

The OM200 uses a 42 mm brushed stainless-steel case, retaining the robust proportions associated with the JB200 platform. Water resistance is rated at 200 metres, making the watch suitable for genuine diving use rather than simply borrowing the aesthetic of a professional diver.

Its rotating bezel is where the collaboration becomes particularly distinctive. The 60-click bezel features a blue insert with a conventional 45-minute diving scale, but the markings from 45 to 60 minutes are treated differently. This section represents the additional time played at the end of a football half, turning what would normally be a purely functional diving element into a subtle reference to the sport.

A luminous triangle at 12 o’clock provides the traditional dive-watch reference point.

The caseback carries the Olympique de Marseille emblem, giving the collaboration a more explicit visual signature while keeping the front of the watch relatively clean.

Deep-blue dial with layered construction

The dial is finished in a deep blue matching the club’s colours and is produced using a 20-layer enamel-like process. At its centre sits an embossed Olympique de Marseille logo, which is subsequently sunray-brushed and enamelled.

Applied hour markers and the hands are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9, providing blue-toned luminescence in low-light conditions and maintaining the watch’s emphasis on legibility.

The seconds hand adds another playful detail. Its lollipop-style counterweight takes the shape of a football, incorporating the collaboration’s theme into an otherwise conventional dive-watch component.

There is no date window, leaving the dial symmetrical and allowing the club emblem and textured finish to remain the visual focus.

COSC-certified automatic movement

Powering the OM200 is the Swiss-made Soprod P024, an automatic movement positioned as an alternative to the familiar ETA 2824 architecture.

The movement is COSC-certified as a chronometer, with an accuracy specification of -4/+6 seconds per day. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and provides at least 38 hours of power reserve.

For a watch built around a military-diver heritage, the combination of a chronometer-certified movement and straightforward no-date configuration keeps the technical specification firmly focused on precision and practicality.

Two blue straps

The Jacques Bianchi x Olympique de Marseille OM200 is supplied with two straps, giving it different options depending on how the watch is intended to be worn.

The first is a blue FKM rubber strap, naturally suited to the watch’s diving capabilities. The second is a blue military-style elastic strap featuring a central white stripe, providing a more casual and distinctly French-military-inspired alternative.

Together, the two straps reinforce the two sides of the OM200: a functional dive watch rooted in Jacques Bianchi’s history and a contemporary piece celebrating Marseille’s football identity.

Limited production and availability

The OM200 will be offered as a limited edition, with pre-orders scheduled to open on September 3, 2026 and remain available until September 24. Deliveries are expected to begin in December 2026.

The watch is priced at €995.
