The New Baume & Mercier Riviera Chronograph Arrives in Titanium And Gold

Baume & Mercier (BM), which this year revitalized the Riviera model first introduced in 1973, with the presentation of a range of different interactions during Watches And Wonders, now introduces a new chronograph variant to the collection.

The new variant, which results from a combination of three materials – steel, titanium and gold, joins the other three chronographs already in the collection, featuring a similar configuration.

Thus, the new BM Riviera Chronograph, with the reference M0A10722, appears dressed in the usual 43mm diameter and 14.1mm thick stainless steel case, with a twelve-sided bezel in sandblasted titanium and fixed by four sandblasted steel screws, a gold-tone PVD ring that can be seen through the case profile and which separates the bezel from the case, an octagonal crown at 3 o’clock engraved with the brand’s logo and flanked by two rectangular pushers, sapphire glass front and back and 100m water resistance.

On the slate-grey tone dial, the usual configuration of three totalizers at 6-9-12 o’clock substantiated in a 12-hour counter, a running seconds and a 30-minute counter, and a double day-date window at 3 o’clock. Gold-tone skeletonized hands coated with Super-LumiNova matching the lipstick hour markers, centre seconds hand with a counterweight in the shape of the brand’s logo and the white inscriptions of the brand and collection name just above and below the vertical date window respectively complete the dial.

Inside, there is nothing new and, like the other chronographs that make up the collection, it is equipped with a Vauljoux 7750 automatic movement, which operates at 28,800 Vph and offers 2 days of power reserve.

The new chronograph is attached to an integrated Canvas rubber strap in a grey tone to match the dial, with a folding buckle and equipped with the quick-change strap system.

Like all the other models in the Riviera collection, it can be found in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers and is available for €4,550.
