The New 2026 Longines HydroConquest: Sleeker, Thinner, More Contemporary
Since its debut in 2007, the Longines HydroConquest has stood as the brand’s contemporary take on the professional dive watch—blending robust underwater performance with everyday versatility. For 2026, the collection undergoes its most significant redesign yet, aligning its identity with the newer GMT models while refining its technical and ergonomic appeal.
A Unified and Modernised Design
The latest generation of the Longines HydroConquest marks a clear evolution from the 2018 redesign. The collection now adopts a cohesive design language shared with the HydroConquest GMT line introduced in 2023, resulting in a cleaner, more streamlined aesthetic.

The stainless steel case has been completely reworked, offering softer curves and a more compact feel on the wrist. Despite maintaining a strong presence, both available sizes—39 mm and 42 mm—benefit from a reduced thickness of just 11.70 mm, improving wearability without compromising durability. Lug-to-lug distances are also well balanced at 48.10 mm and 51.20 mm respectively.
A key upgrade comes in the ceramic bezel, now redesigned with improved tactile feedback inspired by the Longines Ultra-Chron Diver. Combined with a screw-down crown, protective guards, and a solid caseback, the watch maintains its professional-grade 300-meter water resistance.
Refined Dial Execution
One of the most noticeable updates lies in the dial design. While the signature hands remain—featuring a diamond-tipped hour hand and a lollipop seconds hand—the hour markers have been entirely reworked.

Gone are the oversized Arabic numerals that defined previous generations. In their place, Longines introduces a more contemporary layout of applied rectangular, triangular, and circular markers. This change enhances legibility while delivering a sleeker, more technical appearance aligned with modern dive watch aesthetics.
Expanded Range of Configurations
The 2026 HydroConquest collection is offered in a total of 12 references, evenly split between the two case sizes. The lineup includes several distinct aesthetic directions. There are classic executions featuring black, navy blue, and dark green lacquered dials, each paired with a matching ceramic bezel and fitted on a traditional H-link stainless steel bracelet.

Alongside these, Longines introduces more contemporary variations. These include models with a black dial combined with either a slate grey or a luminous blue ceramic bezel, both presented on a Milanese mesh bracelet. Completing the range is a more distinctive version with a frosted blue sunray-brushed dial paired with a black ceramic bezel, also fitted on the Milanese bracelet. Altogether, the collection offers a broader stylistic spectrum, balancing traditional dive watch codes with more refined, lifestyle-oriented designs.
Proven Mechanical Performance
Powering the collection is the reliable Calibre L888.5, an automatic movement developed exclusively for Longines by ETA. Based on the ETA 2892 architecture, it operates at a frequency of 3.5Hz and delivers an extended power reserve of 72 hours.

A silicon balance spring enhances resistance to magnetic fields—up to 10 times higher than the ISO 764 standard—ensuring greater stability and precision in daily use.
Bracelet Options and Comfort
Longines offers two distinct bracelet styles for the new HydroConquest, each contributing to a different wearing experience. The first is the familiar H-link stainless steel bracelet, which follows the design introduced with the GMT models and reinforces the watch’s sporty, classic appeal.
The second option is a newly introduced Milanese mesh bracelet, characterised by its fully brushed finish with subtle polished accents and a tapered construction toward the clasp. This version gives the watch a more refined and contemporary look, while also improving flexibility on the wrist.

Both bracelets are equipped with a double-folding safety clasp and incorporate a practical micro-adjustment system, allowing for easy and precise sizing—an important feature for everyday comfort as well as active use.
Availability and Pricing
The 2026 HydroConquest collection joins the permanent catalogue of Longines and is available immediately through boutiques and authorised retailers. Pricing remains consistent across both case sizes, with models on the H-link bracelet set at CHF 1,850, while versions fitted with the Milanese bracelet are priced at CHF 1,950.
