The Moonwatch Goes Green Again: Meet Omega’s Latest Moonshine Gold Speedmaster
Omega has quietly expanded its Moonwatch collection with a new version of the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional in 18K Moonshine Gold. Rather than introducing an entirely new model, the brand has refined one of its existing green-dial references with subtle but distinctive design updates that give the watch a more luxurious appearance.

Although Omega has not officially linked the watch to its long-standing involvement in professional golf, several styling elements suggest inspiration from the sport, particularly the redesigned chronograph sub-dials.
A Familiar Moonwatch In Moonshine Gold
The new reference 310.60.42.50.10.002 retains all the characteristics of the current precious-metal Moonwatch. Its 42 mm case and matching bracelet are crafted from 18K Moonshine Gold, Omega’s proprietary yellow gold alloy designed to offer improved resistance to fading while maintaining a warm, refined tone.

The watch is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal protecting the dial, while the sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the beautifully finished Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, a hand-wound chronograph movement certified by METAS for exceptional precision, magnetic resistance, and overall performance.
The movement also features Omega’s Co-Axial escapement and delivers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
Green Ceramic Bezel And Sunburst Dial
Like its predecessor, the new model features a polished green ceramic tachymeter bezel complete with the iconic “Dot Over 90” scale. The tachymeter markings are executed in Ceragold, Omega’s proprietary technology that permanently bonds 18K gold markings to ceramic surfaces.

The dial receives a green PVD treatment with an attractive sunburst finish, complemented by applied gold hour markers, Moonwatch-style hands, and the applied Omega logo.
The Biggest Change: Moonshine Gold Sub-Dials
The most noticeable update appears in the three recessed chronograph registers.
Instead of matching the green main dial, the sub-dials are now finished in 18K Moonshine Gold, creating stronger visual contrast while enhancing the luxurious character of the watch.

Omega has also decorated these counters with an azurage circular pattern inspired by the radial texture found on golf shoe spikes, introducing a subtle sporting reference without altering the classic Moonwatch design.
The result is a dial that feels more dynamic and offers improved legibility while preserving the familiar Speedmaster aesthetic.
