Topper Fine Jewelers and Doxa continue their ongoing partnership with a fresh limited-edition release: the Doxa x Topper Sub 250T GMT “Great White.” This model follows the successful collaboration launched exactly one year ago with the SUB 300 “Great White,” which introduced the same blue-and-white color scheme that now carries over into this new edition. For 2025, the concept evolves with a more compact case and the addition of a GMT display.

Refined Case Dimensions and Updated Specifications

The Sub 250T GMT “Great White” adopts Doxa’s classic cushion-shaped case, but in a slightly smaller format than its SUB 300 predecessor. Crafted from stainless steel, the case measures 40 mm in diameter with a 42.90 mm lug-to-lug length, resulting in a versatile size suitable for a wide range of wrists. Water resistance is rated at 250 meters, remaining fully consistent with the brand’s diving heritage. The watch features a unidirectional 24-hour bezel to support the GMT function, a screw-down crown and case back for safety underwater, and a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating for improved readability.

White Luminous Dial and Blue Accents

Just like the earlier SUB 300 Great White edition, this new model retains the distinctive fully luminous white dial. The matte surface ensures excellent legibility in low-light conditions, while the deep blue hands and markers—matched to Pantone 2955 C—maintain the recognizable contrast of the Great White colorway. Surrounding the dial is a 24-hour day/night ring, an element introduced specifically to support the watch’s GMT capability and one of the visual updates distinguishing this model from previous collaborations.

Swiss GMT Movement with Proven Reliability

Inside the Sub 250T GMT “Great White” is the Sellita SW330-1, the same automatic movement used throughout Doxa’s GMT collection. This 25-jewel caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of up to 38 hours. Known for its reliability and stability, the SW330-1 drives the central GMT hand for tracking a second time zone while maintaining smooth operation in daily use and under diving conditions.

Bracelet and Strap Options

The watch is delivered with two wearing options. The stainless-steel beads-of-rice bracelet features a blend of polished and brushed finishing that complements the cushion-shaped case, and it includes a modern micro-adjustment clasp that allows for quick and precise sizing. Its tool-free link removal system makes adjustments easy. Also included is a blue rubber strap that echoes the watch’s color theme and provides a lighter, more flexible option ideal for swimming, diving, or warmer climates.

Special Case Back Artwork

A standout feature of this edition is the engraved case back created by John Caplan and Wesley Smith of Standard H. The artwork depicts a treasure-map-style rendering of the San Francisco Bay and the Gulf of the Farallones, with a marker highlighting Topper Fine Jewelers’ location in Burlingame. This artistic touch reinforces the connection between the watch, its inspiration, and the region central to the collaboration’s identity.
