The Countdown To “Paris 2024” Has Just Begun And Omega Presents A Seamaster 300M LE As The Official Timekeeper
Exactly one year before the start of the Paris Olympic Games, Omega as its official timekeeper presents a limited edition Seamaster 300M dedicated to the event.
The new Omega Seamaster 300M “Paris 2024” stands out for its 18k Moonshine Gold bezel, which is laser engraved with the usual 60-minute dive scale and the inverted triangle at 12 o’clock with a pip-lume.
The other highlight is the threaded back that, in addition to coming with the gold medallion with the event’s official logo, is also engraved with “Paris 2024” in a special font that we will also find on the date disc on the dial and also with the five Olympic rings.
The matte white ceramic dial comes with the traditional wave pattern, applied gold hour markers that together with the two skeletonized hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, a central seconds hand with “Paris 2024” logo-shape tip, a date window at 6 o’clock that we talked about earlier and the traditional black inscriptions at 12 and 6 o’clock that we can find on any Seamaster 300M.
On the outside, the diver watch wears the traditional 42mm diameter and 13.7mm thick stainless steel case, unidirectional bezel, screw-down crown with crown guards, helium valve escape at 10 o’clock, sapphire crystal, 300m water resistance and the usual steel bracelet that is part of the collection.
Nothing new inside, with the METAS-certified Master Chronometer Caliber 8800 automatic movement taking over, reaching 25,200 Vph and offering up to 55 hours of power reserve.
The watch can be purchased for USD 8,700 which represents a significant premium of almost USD 2,800. Although it is announced as a limited edition, Omega does not yet disclose the number of pieces available, which for now will be exclusive to Paris boutiques.
