The All-Terrain Hanhart Preventor HD12
Hanhart, known for being a specialist in the production of chronographs for pilots, presents the new and versatile Preventor HD12 that fits into the so-called GADA (go-anywhere-do-anything).
The “low-profile” watch features a classic design, presented in a stainless steel case with clean lines, a dial free from complications with basic time functions, reliable mechanical movement and an appreciable 150m of water resistance.
Housed in a round HD12 steel alloy case that comes with a transparent hard coating, proportions of 39 mm in diameter, 10 mm in thickness and 46 mm in length, a large screw-down crown at 3 o’clock and screwed solid case back.
The matte blue or black dial features printed Arabic numerals and cathedral hands filled with Super-LumiNova, a centre red-tipped seconds hand, a white minute/second band near the edges that match the brand’s lettering at noon and the inscriptions “Preventor Automatix” at 6 o’clock.
Inside it is powered by the ETA 2824-like 26-jewel Sellita SW200 automatic movement, which runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.
The watches that are now available can be purchased with a Bund-type leather strap for €995 or with a 3-Links steel bracelet for €1,195.
