Excalibur Double Tourbillon Cobalt Chrome is the latest creation from Roger Dubuis that once again combines innovative materials with exquisite mechanisms.

This time the Excalibur comes with two flyback tourbillons in a Cobalt CarTech Micro-Melt BioDur CCM case, a material widely used in the automotive, aeronautical and space industries.

The new timepiece wears a robust Cobalt Chrome case measuring 45mm wide by 14.60mm high. It features an essentially brushed finish and polished bevels, the characteristic notched bezel and crown, domed sapphire crystal, three strap lugs, sculped crown guards, an open case back and 100m water resistance.

The open dial presents a petrol blue minute chapter ring with Super-LumiNova hour markers that we can also find on the tips of the semi-open white gold centre hands, two tourbillons held in a blue cage on the lower half that matches the star-shaped bridges in the upper half.

At its heart, the 319-component Caliber RD108 hand-wound movement reaches 21,600 Vph and offers up to 3 days of power reserve.

The new RD Excalibur Double Tourbillon is paired with a blue calfskin leather strap with a titanium triple-folding buckle, limited to 28 pieces and priced at €320,000.

Frederique Constant Unveils Two Exclusive Timepieces With Luxurious Stone Dials

Frederique Constant presents two limited editions of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture and Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture with beautiful stone dials.

Classic Tourbillon Manufacture

Starting with the Classic Tourbillon comes in an 18k white gold case and a Blue Aventurine dial.

The watch maintains the previous formula housed in a polished round case measuring 39mm by 10.99mm, curved sapphire crystal, smooth bezel, ball-shaped crown, open case back and 30m splash resistance.

On the exclusive Blue Aventurine dial rests long silver-polished hour markers, two centre hands and a 60-minute tourbillon at 6 o’clock that shares the attention with the luxurious background.

At its heart runs the in-house automatic FC-980-4 movement of 188 components, which features a silicone escapement operating 28,800 Vph and offering up to 38 hours of power reserve.

The new FC Classic Tourbillon Manufacture is attached to a blue alligator leather strap with a white gold pin buckle, limited to 36 pieces priced at € 40,995.

Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture

Like the Classic Tourbillon, the new Moonphase Date also comes with a stone dial but here in Green Malachite, presenting a similar layout despite its different complications.

Housed in a white gold case but slightly larger than the Tourbillon, 40mm in diameter by 12.40mm thick with a polished finish, the same sapphire crystal on both sides, a smooth bezel, ball-shaped crown and 30m water resistance.

The stone dial presents a horizontally brushed finish, the same long hour markers and polished hands, a moonphase indicator with a pointer date at 6 o’clock, and a white minute railway track along the edges.

Inside we find the manufactured automatic movement FC-716 with 26 jewels that runs at a frequency of 4 Hz and offers up to 3 days of power reserve, decorated with Perlage and Côtes de Genève.

It is also a limited edition of 36 pieces paired with a green alligator leather strap with a white gold buckle priced at € 31,795.

Zenith And Felipe Pantone’s Latest Watch Blends Monochrome With A Burst Of Color

Zenith and visual artist Felipe Pantone strengthened ties in their third collaboration.

The result is the new Defy Skyline Tourbillon Felipe Pantone whose monochromatic background merges with colorful details in rainbow tones.

On the outside, everything is maintained embracing the 41 mm octagonal stainless steel case with brushed finish on the surfaces and polished on the bevels, 12-sided bezel, sapphire crystal on both sides, crown at 3 o’clock with embedded star and 100m resistance to water.

The greyish sapphire crystal dial is engraved with concentric lines that start from the tourbillon and present a gradient effect that almost turns black towards the edges. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock features the artist’s lightning-bold arabesque which, like the hour markers and distorted hands, displays a wide range of colours.

It is through the rear sapphire crystal that we can observe the powerful Caliber El Primero 3630 automatic movement that operates at a high frequency of 5 Hz offering up to 60 hours of power reserve and whose skeletonized rotor in the shape of the brand’s star is also presented with a colourful PVD.

In addition to the integrated steel bracelet, the set includes a black rubber strap with a starry texture priced at CHF 60,000 and limited to 100 units.
