The New Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 for Gold

After mid-June, Omega increased its Seamaster Aqua Terra collection with the introduction of several models with the Small Seconds complication, now expands the collection again with 2 new special models dedicated to the Olympic Games starting this month in Japan, the Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020.

Omega has been the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932 and that is why it now launches two Aqua Terra models in full 18k yellow gold that represent the highest level that an athlete can reach on the podium winning gold.

The new Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 is available in two sizes, 38 and 41 mm, in addition to the case, also the hour indexes and hands are in 18k yellow gold and filled with lume, the ceramic blue dial is laser-engraved with the inspired pattern on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem and at 6 o’clock the traditional circular and trapeze-shaped date opening for sizes 38 and 41 mm respectively. Inside, nothing changes, equipped with automatic movement with Co-Axial escapement and Master Chronometer certified by METAS Caliber 8801 and 8901, based on the Caliber 8800 and 8900 respectively and which differ only in that they come with 18k yellow gold rotor and balance bridge which can be seen through the open case back also engraved in the sapphire glass with the pattern of the emblem of the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Both watches are offered with a blue leather strap that matches the blue of the dial.

The watches come in a special box with the brand’s 5-year warranty and are available from official boutiques and authorized brand retailers with prices starting at €17,990 for the 38mm variant and €18,700 for the 41mm variant.
