Hublot And Samuel Ross Debut The Limited Big Bang Tourbillon SR Carbon In Blue
Hublot and renowned British artist and fashion designer Samuel Ross have reunited for a third collaboration, unveiling the striking Big Bang Tourbillon SR Carbon Edition. This latest timepiece expands the color palette of their partnership, introducing a captivating blue hue to complement the earlier orange and green models. It also marks a technical evolution with a super-light carbon case, exemplifying Hublot’s commitment to innovative materials.

The Big Bang Tourbillon SR Carbon Edition boasts a 44mm wide and 13.75mm thick asymmetric case. Its design integrates a honeycomb structure crafted from microblasted titanium, framed by a carbon fiber element in sophisticated gray tones. The case is complemented by an eight-sided bezel in microblasted titanium, creating a bold and futuristic aesthetic. Sapphire crystals on both sides ensure durability and showcase the intricate mechanics within. The crown, positioned at 3 o’clock, features a blue rubber ring, enhancing the ergonomic design and contributing to the watch’s 30-meter water resistance.

The openworked dial is a testament to modern watchmaking artistry, featuring six indexes and skeletonized hands infused with Super-LumiNova. The luminescence alternates between blue and white, adding a dynamic visual effect. A silver minute chapter ring encircles the dial, while a 60-second tourbillon takes center stage at 6 o’clock. At 12 o’clock, the micro-rotor is prominently displayed, sculpted with Hublot’s iconic branding, further emphasizing the watch’s meticulous attention to detail.

At the heart of the Big Bang Tourbillon SR Carbon Edition lies Hublot’s in-house Caliber HUB6035 automatic movement. Comprising 282 components and 26 jewels, this movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers an impressive 72-hour power reserve. It ensures precision and reliability while showcasing the craftsmanship synonymous with the brand.

The timepiece is paired with a blue rubber strap featuring the same honeycomb motif as the case, seamlessly blending design elements. An additional black rubber strap is included, providing versatility for various occasions. Limited to just 50 pieces, the Big Bang Tourbillon SR Carbon Edition is priced at CHF 130,000, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts of avant-garde horology.

This exclusive release underscores Hublot’s innovative spirit and the synergy between high-end watchmaking and contemporary design, making it a standout addition to the Big Bang series.
