Richemont Ushers In New Leadership For Iconic Watch Brands
Richemont has announced a major leadership reshuffle for two of its most celebrated watchmaking Maisons, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin, with new appointments set to take effect on January 1, 2025.
Jérôme Lambert, a veteran of both Richemont and Jaeger-LeCoultre, will return as CEO of the latter. This marks a homecoming for Lambert, who previously held the same position from 2002 to 2013—a period widely regarded as transformative for the brand. Since then, Lambert has taken on several high-profile roles within Richemont, including CEO of Montblanc, Group CEO, and most recently, Chief Operating Officer. His return is expected to reignite Jaeger-LeCoultre’s legacy of innovation and craftsmanship. Reflecting on this new chapter, Lambert called the opportunity “a privilege and a return to the heart of the heritage that shaped my career.”
At Vacheron Constantin, Laurent Perves will step into the role of CEO, succeeding Louis Ferla, who has been appointed CEO of Cartier. Perves is no stranger to Vacheron Constantin, having served as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer since joining the Maison in 2016. Known for his strategic vision and expertise in luxury goods, Perves is set to lead the Maison into its milestone 270th anniversary year in 2025. With a background spanning prestigious roles at LVMH, Audemars Piguet, and Procter & Gamble, Perves brings a comprehensive approach to leadership that blends tradition with modern innovation.
These appointments come as part of Richemont’s broader strategy to position its Maisons for continued excellence and growth, ensuring they remain at the forefront of luxury watchmaking.
