Sinn x Revolution Unveiling The ‘Bright Star’ 155 Bundeswehr Chronograph LE

For the second time, Sinn and Revolution come together to bring a new limited edition of the 155 Bundeswehr Chronograph.

The famous chronograph appeared in 1967, designed exclusively for the West German Federal Defense Force, and was intended mainly for pilots.

It was in 2019 that the first collaboration with Revolution appeared in an exclusive edition of 150 pieces of the 155 Bundeswehr Chronograph called “Dark Star”, which came in a stainless steel case, with a grey-brownish bezel and black dial and indices with beige lume. The edition that now appears from the same chronograph is called “Bright Star” and is presented for the first time in a blacked-out version of 300 pieces.

On the outside, the robust chronograph wears a 43mm round stainless steel case that comes with a black coating and a scratch-resistant Tegiment finish. A bi-directional 60-minute bezel, drilled lugs, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two pushers, solid case back with the indication of the two cooperating brands and individual numbering, and finally, 100m of water resistance.

The black dial features a bicompax layout substantiated by a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and running seconds at 9 o’clock, printed Arabic numerals and pencil hands all filled with Super-LumiNova, which at night also gives life to the tip of the chronograph centre seconds and the Revolution star logo at 6 o’clock. Finally, combined with all the elements of the dial, a rehaut minute track and the watchmaking brand’s lettering at noon are painted in white.

Inside runs the Sellita SW510 automatic movement that reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 56 hours of power reserve.

The exclusive chronograph is attached to a black leather bund strap with a matching case pin buckle and an additional NATO strap in the same colour.

The watches will be available from March 20th for a price of USD 3,600 (excluding taxes) and are limited to 300 pieces.

Nomos x Revolution Presents The New Tangente Neomatik 41 Update Limited Edition

NOMOS in partnership with Revolution presents the new Tangente Neomatik 41 Update – Revolution, in a limited edition of 55 pieces.

The new Tangente, which celebrates the Fibonacci sequence, comes with a midnight blue dial and a silver small seconds, joining the collection’s three regular models in monochromatic tones in white, ruthenium and midnight blue.

This exclusive edition comes painted with the historical Fibonacci sequence discovered in the 13th century, which is composed of the numerals: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34 and 55, whose figures translate into the sum of the two preceding numbers. Those same numbers are inserted discreetly in the minute scale that precedes the brand’s patented date ring and that is now filled with blue Super-LumiNova.

The remaining layout of the dial remains unchanged, with printed white baton hour markers and Arabic numerals, centre hour and minute hands, a running seconds at 6 o’clock and the branding lettering at noon followed by the inscription “neomatik” in gold.

On the outside, the watch wears the usual round stainless steel case measuring 40.5mm in diameter and 7.8mm thick, which comes with a polished finish, thin and angular lugs, sapphire glass at the front and back, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s inscription and 50m of water resistance.

The open case back, which is engraved on the top with “Tangente Limited Edition For Revolution” and on the bottom with “1/55”, reveals its Caliber DUW 6101 automatic movement, which operates at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.

The watch, which is attached to a grey textile strap, is available from today, August 16, 2023, exclusively on the NOMOS and Revolution online stores for a price of €3,400, limited to 55 units honouring the number highest in the Fibonacci sequence.

Introducing the Massena LAB x Revolution Uni-Racer 1949

Massena LAB and Revolution Watches have teamed up to produce something very special, a limited edition of 120 pieces inspired by the extraordinary Patek Philippe unique piece from 1949.

The unique chronograph features come with a sector black dial that is very similar to the original enamel dial, where you can find two totalizers at 3-9 o’clock consisting of a 30-minute counter and a running seconds, an outer “base 1000” scale and a middle luminous sector track with Roman numerals. Two blue syringe hands filled with beige Super-LumiNova, a chronograph central seconds hand with a leaf-shape counterweight and the brand’s white lettering at 12 o’clock complete the dial.

The chronograph is housed in a 39mm by 13mm stainless steel case, which serves as the basis for all Massena Uni-Race models, featuring the smooth polished bezel, sapphire crystal, fluted crown with two pushers on the sides, solid case back and 50 meters of water resistance.

At the heart of the beautiful chronograph operates the manual movement Sellita SW510 M Elaboré, which reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 58 hours of power reserve. We take the opportunity to remind you that the original model operated the Patek Caliber 13-130 based on the Valjoux 23.

The chronograph is attached to a vintage-inspired black leather strap with the brand’s signature pin buckle.

Snoopy is the main character of the Peanuts cartoons, he is a beagle that along with his bunch of friends faces various adventures, for 50 years he was probably the main star of the cartoons and who was lucky to grow forward from the 50s until the beginning of the new millennium, as I probably did, it benefited from an era in which Snoopy’s cartoons were very present, both on television and in the comic books that our parents check out for us at a nearby kiosk.

Snoopy was that typical dog that did not conform to his condition and therefore in his various adventures, he embodied several characters, what is known as Alter Ego in Latin, which means “the other me”, and one of Snoopy’s alter egos best known is “Joe Cool” in which Snoopy wears a red sweater and puts on sunglasses and embodies the character of a college student.

It’s “Joe Cool” Snoopy who is the main star of the latest collaboration between Bamford and Revolution. According to the words of George Bamford and Wei Koh of the founders of Bamford and Revolution respectively the main objective was to create a fun watch that could alleviate the dark days caused by the pandemic and bring joy to people, awakening a smile whenever they look at the watch.

This is not the first watch produced by Bramford in which the main star is the Snoopy, as early as 2019 to celebrate Snoopy’s 70th-anniversary Bramford launched a similar edition with the Snoopy Superhero on the dial, with a color palette that alternated between the yellow, black and white of Snoopy. The watch came with the GMT function, two-color internal bezel, and date window.

The new Bamford X Revolution GMT Joe Cool, presents itself with the same steel case of the 70th anniversary of the Snoopy, with an appreciable 40mm in diameter by 11.7mm thick, crown at 3 o’clock, and bezel crown at 10 o’clock with 100m of water resistance. The dial and two-way inner bezel are in white with the Snoopy “Joe Cool” in the center of the dial, where the Snoopy arms function as the hour and minute hands, an additional GMT hand with “Woodstock” at the tip, the yellow bird that always accompanies your friend Snoopy, and lastly a date aperture at 3 o’clock. Luminescence in Snoopy, hour and minute hands, Woodstock GMT tip, and 24-hour inner bezel. Inside, the watch is equipped with the Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement that offers up to 42 hours of power reserve. The watch is offered with a black Cordura strap with white stitching at a price of €1,600 and limited to 100 pieces. Also noteworthy the watch comes in a special package in the shape of the Snoopy’s doghouse with a luminescent coating that makes it light up, just like the watch, at night.
