Zodiac X RedBar Presents the New Super Sea Wolf Pro-Diver Full Lumed

RedBar is teaming up this time with Zodiac Watches to bring a new limited edition, this time the chosen one is the Super Sea Wolf Pro-Diver watch which arrives with a full lumed dial.

The watch only comes in 200 units and in addition to the green dial that lights up blue in the dark, it also comes with a red dot at 4:30 that also repeats in a recessed spot on the case back, which here is a nod to the RedBar, which in other times had another meaning.

It was during the 90s that Zodiac produced the “Dot Series” in which several watches came with the same dot drawn at 4:30 in different shades, namely gold, silver, blue or red with different meanings, and the red that now returns stood for “Professional Sport Watches” which by chance or not work perfectly again.

So on the outside, the watch wears a 42mm stainless steel case that features a mainly brushed finish, a unidirectional black bezel with a scale that lights up green in the dark, sapphire glass, fluted crown at 3 o’clock flanked by guards, screwed case back with the brand logo engraved and the dot mentioned above in red and 300m of watertightness.

The dial, which is mint green in daylight, is filled with Super-LumiNova which makes it glow blue in the dark, while the applied hour markers and the three centre hands glow green, as does the bezel, all of which have an outline in black that match the brand’s inscriptions at noon and the three lines of text at 6 o’clock only interrupted by the line referring to water resistance “300M / 1000FT” which is painted in red just like the dot at 4:30.

Inside runs the STP1-21 automatic movement that operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.

The watch comes attached to a 7-link steel bracelet with a folding clasp and a red and black Velcro strap with a price tag of USD 2,295.
